If there was 2 mafia families and 1 SK, wouldn't that make 5 out of the 10 people alive mafia? Not seriously outnumbered right now, but it would make a town win difficult.

No vote change

At this stage in the game isn't better to REPLACE the silent ones a bit, r0ver?

And coming out with information probably isn't a good idea day 1 according to some players - I'm not entirely sure why it is but it may have to do with sanity/competence.

Ideas are good though.

Alternatively just do what we'll probably end up doing and bandwagon the first person to make a mistake :)

Thats good. What do we do now?

FOS: Genku You've posted, but you haven't actually *said* anything. But 4 votes would be tempting fate/mafia. Speak.

Here are my current thoughts.

1. No hurry as there is no deadline as yet.
2. Who would want to kill PBug and Shadyforce when there's DP and Rite...? Mafia tends to kill famous players they have seen in action.
3. Is Green Crayons usually this quiet? He just voted Xeno, said he was innocent in the past, which is suspicious, partially because rite has already voted xeno. Come to think of it, why is rite so quiet? Macros is also quiet, but he's macros and is always like that in past experience.

Well, my vote on DP won't achieve anything, so why don't you vote for me?

(FOS: Talitha. )

I'm just waiting for Crayons over here to say something to avoid a lynch, or if he doesn't I'd like to be one of the ones to lynch him butI'll probably miss it due to timezones

I'm just wondering why you would "like" to lynch him if he doesn't speak?
Surely replacing him would be a safer option. He might have just got busy? Not necessarily scum...
oops. Said that earlier when FOSing you, didn't I? I should stop posting while tired, but when I'm not tired I'm usually doing something else.

I made the first mistake, didn't I?

Isn't it time to mod prod some players?

I'm afraid genku is wrong. The word to describe my posts is flippant and quite possibly realistic. I don't quite see *why* I'm obviously scum, so why don't you tell me sometime. Or if get somebody to roleclaim day, you could tell me that too.

Unvote DP
... waste of mikehart's vote count space.

FOS: Genku. Gut feeling is a bit hard to defend against, and also attacking someone without attacking someone.

Also FOS: r0ver. Killing an SK as a goal sounds somehow wrong, plus you haven't really said anything. Similar thing with jinx.

So just lmk what you want to do, and tell me.

genku wrote:I said why I voted you.. if you were to read a few posts up, it was for saying you wanted to lynch GC for not talking...
Yes, admittedly faulty, but is this a line of argument scum would take? I've been mafia before, and if I was mafia now I wouldn't delibrately use that argument. This isn't a type of mistake mafia or town would be particularly inclined more than the other to make.
rOver wrote:

Well, I did give an explanation. So either you agree with it or not. If not you should be able to explain why. Though it's mostly irrelevant since we can't tell SKs from mafia so we'll end up lynching whoever we find "suspicious".
plus you haven't really said anything.
Well, I said we should encourage participation with votes. Not a brilliant idea, I admit, but better than random. And I also implied that everyone who is following this strategy without trying to come up with something else is suspicious.

Totally true, its just that the phrasing of the statement allow more for the possibility that you are scum and want the SK out of the way. Not really all that suspicious without collaborating evidence.

Innocent! :)

Talitha doesn't seem particularly suspicious apart from that incident, but it was a bit justified. Its also possible that genku is some kind of subtle genius and engineered masterfully manipulated Talitha, but he keeps stressing that he's a newbie and therefore immune to suspicion. But I'd like to hear genku's response first.

Well Genku, the reason I pointed at yuo was because I thought it may actually be possible that you could do something stupid, causing someone to defend you, possibly then throwing suspicion on them to get them lynched thus confirming your innocent. After all you seemed to be waving that newbie flag a bit too much... But anyway, you're right.. Probably not genius enough to come up with a plan like that.

I have my eye on you. :)

While we're waiting for xeno to post at all, I think I'll just
Unvote: xeno, vote macros

Well, its good that Someone is getting into the game, but I don't find myself suspicious. Like I said, there isn't really a danger of lynches when only 3 people are posting, and we needed to prod some people.

Jinx - is like Mikehart - very difficult to tell whether he's suspicous or not.

r0ver: Also suspicious, but AFAIK he's new, isn't he?

Three mosts suspicious people IMO...

Well lemme see.

Jinx. Again, he seems to be of Mikeharts style of play with short nothing posts. 2. The Shadyforce kill. AFAIK - someone really ought to check and tell me about this. This was like his first game or something and usually newbies don't get killed, at least not by experienced players. Newbies wouldn't know who the other newbies are N1, so I suspect him to be the SK.

2. GC. Short nothing posts. Implied there could be two mafia families I think. A valid suggestion, but possibly a sign of a mafia whose kill didn't go through (maybe one of the kills was by a newbie vigilante?) ?

3. r0ver. Not quite as short but not much new content in his posts and generally blending in.. Possibly trying to start bandwagons.

4. Macros. I don't even know is he's still in the game.

And you can't really exclude the possibility that scum have already jumped on the bandwagon.

I don't think there is.. I made my unofficial vote count and went back until mikehart's last vote count.

And yes, I have tried to post every day in my games, unless there's really, really been zilch going on (e.g. the wait for somebody to log on and respond to a bandwagon on lurker). That way people know that I'm still in the game (*at macros, rite*) and won't waste time trying to have me prodded.

Actually, I believe that macros has been prodded. Check the dates for confirming in Shrek Mafia for instance.

On the other hand, macros is a very useless townie and hasn't really said ANY new ideas at all. So macros - talk. Who's suspicious? Who isn't? I'm sure you get the drift...

But at the moment I find that while macros is utterly useless he probably isn't scum whereas jinx has simply disappeared off the face of the earth so is a little more of an unknown. Only a little though.

But that's just my opinion and I don't really care because its like Groundhog Day here. Every time I wake up its still Day 1.

macros has joined the list on the next game. That means he has effectively killed himself.

So, you think we could possibly get another mod or something ? Its been 5 days, and no word whatsoever from mikehart - although strangely, my pms have come up as READ. And also in light of MeMe's rant about mods.

Lolness. Jinx was scum after all... should've known from that gun avatar.

So I take it that Talitha AND R0ver were both going to have me killed about this night? Kinda thought it would happen (the scum killing me or genku part anyway) - it sucks that I can't protect myself or anyone twice.

Oh well, I guess I learnt something today.
