Think the wiki page stated that only a special "poison doc" can protect from poisoner kills so yeah, this is weird. I guess there could be a poison doc.

In werewolf a poisoner works: mod announces at start of day that xxx was poisoned, if no cure is found will die at EOD. Or is a sure death like:
Xxx has been poisoned and will die at EOD.

Plus no one died which means SK kill didn't work? There really should be some poison flavor.

Yes that link doesn't specify if there's flavor when a posin hits. Maybe it will happen when day end and n1 was scum kill.
But that would make dex have no kills at all
