He's doing that because he's town and he doesn't want to blow all his energy too soon and have a game stall, I'm guessing he wants his energy to gradually pick up as players get more invested.

ABR and BBT have earned my acronym badge of buddying suspicion. IGMEOY two crazy kids. If one of you drew scum, then the other one is being dumb. Neither of you have given enough content to be trusting each other like this in a game where alignments are randomly distributed.
