I don't want to lynch Soren/VysePresident today. While I'm not thrilled with his one replacement post, I still don't think that slot is scum.

For what it's worth, I tend to be pretty slow to catch up on a game as Town. I put a lot of value into building a clear picture of the game, and being right - I'm almost House's antithesis.

So yeah, I'm going to be pretty laid back this phase, and mostly focused on getting reads in before Twilight/Night. I'll probably get more involved if I survive today somehow.

NOTES: House is probably the weakest of my Townreads, just because

, and he seems a bit more focused than last time I played with him. That said, there's a flow to his thoughts that leans more like his Town thought process, and I feel that outweighs the former stuff. I'll probably look into this more tonight.

Lucian leans Town mostly because he feels like I expect. Call it a gutread.

Suzenne feels pretty Town to me. She's a little bit weird stylistically, but so far, so good. I don't get House's bit on her being low-hanging fruit, really. :/

So, let me clarify a few things before diving into my own thoughts & stuff.

-The first bit was just me teasing you(House) a little bit, based on our last game together. It wasn't intended to be taken seriously, and I'm sorry if I offended you. I hate that kind of trash talk period, and it's not like I'm perfect by any stretch. (Case in point being this game so far.) (For what it's worth, I do view us as being opposites in some ways - You're aggressive & involved, shifting from read to read, while my usual pattern is to sit back & slowly build up my thoughts until I have something that feels solid, at which point I usually get heavily active & involved myself.)

-The second was me saying I disagree with some of your conclusions, but it fit into a pattern that I felt was more Town you than not, albeit it was a first glance read. (Yes, this is a prelude to me reviewing it, in case there's any doubt.) It wasn't an attack on you personally. I'll bring up examples if it's really needed. Might even do it anyway, depending on my reread.

-I was saying Grapes was a meh lynch, and I said I wasn't interested in voting him at the time, except to preserve my slot, particularly given that I had an actual scumread I wanted to focus on.) The only reason I mentioned him was because he was the default counterwagon to myself. (See: 727.) The worst my read ever got on him was a paranoid Null, and I don't think I even noted that anywhere.

-There's a difference between taking time to form my thoughts, and not offering any at all. Frankly, I didn't think I was surviving Day #1 - I wasn't interested in pushing Grapes, and most of the pressure was centered around the Soren slot.(Me) I figured I'd try my best to get my strongest scumread lynched, and failing that, make sure he followed me the next phase. I took my best guess, things worked out miraculously, and I blew it.

-I don't think it's fair to say I was 'sheeping' you when I had fairly in-depth reasoning of my own in 790. I mean, if you have a problem with my case, or how I approached it, or whatever, fine, we'll talk, but this is just taking my play out of context. It's a buzzword.

-My first post & vote on BlankFace was more of a 'bookmark' than a concrete analysis. I do that in part to get attention, which can be difficult given my relatively passive style, and as a starting point for fleshing out my read. (Again, you got that in 790.)

-As a sidenote, I made the mistake of putting this game on the sidelines during Day #2, due to screwing up & getting /in happy. (I don't even have any good excuses this time. I was just an idiot, and I don't think I'm ever joining more than two games at a time again. >_< ) We had a ton of time left on the deadline, and I figured it wasn't top priority. :/

Basically, that's why I'm a bit slow getting back into things from here. I need to review my reads & the stuff I let slip by in the meantime.
