That game was a brutal lesson in why reads aren't everything, though :/
Granted, explaining to people why Mina/Tammy were confirmed scum shouldn't have had to happen given that they were literally mod confirmed scum. There really should be a technical ability test that we give to players before letting them play games. The test will include:
1) Can you lynch confirmed scum after an Usurper flip?
2) Are you capable of never faking an investigative guilty?
3) Do you call someone who used the same fakeclaim as flipped scum scum or town?
4) Do you make the correct choice when one decision strictly dominates all others?
5) Do you respond correctly do a day 1 claim of a confirmable role? A highly powerful but unconformable role?
6) Do you know when to have a mason claim his buddy in an x-player setup?
7) Can you correctly identify all likely scum faction numbers for any given number of players (i.e., know that 10:3, 10:2:1, 9:3:1, and 9:2:2 are all significant possibilities in a 13p closed setup)? Do you play around this correctly?
An insanely high percentage of players would fail this, even players who are otherwise decent.-

You should work on the questions if you do make a formalized "test".-

This is a semi-decidable test problem though
It is totally possible that someone may fake an investigative guilty at some time and we can never know that they won't through some arbitrary length of observations that they didn't. In theory, it is decidable in the event that a person is a fake claimer, but otherwise is not.-

I guess the test does not account for dumb players. I thought it was a jab at dumb players.-

still ridiculous
Nope!
Maybe you're just misusing words. By "with specific purpose" do you just mean "coherently"?You can't step in the same river twice.-

hi guyz i just saw this thread
i dont go to MD all around much
lurkers are worse than spammers IMO most especially those who post 1 or 2 lines every 3 days
i am okay with wallpostersno fck wallposts who actually reads themthe only walls that i immediately dont read are mastinwalls like holy snap mastina can have WALLS full of FLUFF nowthatis acrime
like mastin can literally make fluff and expand them into walls
my bottomline is that if you're engaged in the game and posting content then thats great.
wallposting or <having a high amount of posts> is able to let people see your alignment better (or at least you tried!) and is content and content isgood. many times i have caught scum wallposting because of the inherent notion of <the more you write, the more likely you are to slip>.
although its best practice to format wallposts nicely and organize them to be easy on the reader. nobody wants to read 5 paragraphs of plaintext now that is just hard.
understandably, some players have less time than others to devote to mafia, but thats why there are smaller game queues. i usually join (edit: MULTIPLE) large games because i am able to handle it.

i have seen games that someone else not named you or titus have a higher postcount than me and i was alive the entire time.
in fact, i don't even think I <post THAAAAAT much>
the access to a smartphone with mobile data dramatically increases posting rate, though!
