Vice Chancellor votes probably aren't too important for analysis but once we get into Supreme Chancellor that will be interesting.
Vice Chancellor: The Bulge
This mostly trips my gut instincts about people who talk about how "interesting" something will be. The lack of a follow through when the voting was actually going on makes me think he was just saying this stuff as filler.

The problem with removing the bulge is that it gives us very little information.
My intent was to find someone in that sweet spot of talking enough to give us information, but not talking so much as to destroy the conversation when they're removed.
I don't think I need to put forward how important it is that whatever motion go forward be supported UNLESS you honestly believe them to be town. No Lynch days are never good, particularly in micros.
While I'm hesitant to remove The Bulge because it will give us little information, I think that's going to be the way it has to go. I do not subscribe to Lynch All Lurkers as a rule, but I can't imagine taking the risk that he is sailing through as a baddie. It's unfortunate that good oral sex excuses bad chemistry. - Korts-

Well, let's fix that.
Let's have an informal vote, right here and now. In their next posts, everyone says which way they would vote and (preferably) reasons to go along with it.
Yay
I've already said why the first post gave me a gut scum read and the fact that he's not posting in this game while being active in GD strengthens the read.-

I don't get why I'm getting shit for this when Flames has just as many posts as I do but with even less content. Just saying. [/deflection]

So, how do you feel about my motion comingaftermy explanation.
Also, why are you lurking?

Why?
That's just the same as a FoS vs. an actual vote. FoS, gauge interest, then when you realize there isn't much, you pull an explanation out of your ass. I'm not saying it was a bad explanation in itself, I just don't think it was genuine. Not sure if that's necessarily scum-mindset but igmeou.
I'm lurking because of IRL anxiety issues that I'm dealing with. I really shouldn't be playing this many games when I'm lurking and falling behind so much, but hopefully I'll get over this once school ends next week.
I'll explain Dooku in a bit but there's not much of anything specific, just his posts have all irked me and his ISO is pretty gross. Will expand.

I wasn't really here (see above), which you all have already pointed out. I didn't have a lot of time to do any sort of analysis.

Dooku's entry is pretty awkward, it's too late at night to do a meta read but maybe I'll look into that more later. Probably not. Eh.
In post 39, Count Dooku wrote:Btw, I didn't vote for myself, because I don't think I will make a good VC (or SC). So I decided to vote for someone else, wihtout any specific reason.
I don't like this. He went straight from "that wasobviouslyan RVS vote" to being all defensive about it.
40 and 42 is a stupid pointless line of questioning.
131 132 133 all fluff
134 riding on TTH's question to look useful. Like idek? What was the point of re-quoting it? It's like you wanted it to be your question. Like you wanted credit for contributing to discussion/scumhunting.
So yea.

This is baseless, self-serving, speculative drivel. I left the read at around 3 a.m. my time and did the explanation the next day when I was more awake.
There are so many disconnects in this argument, though. I don't even know where to begin. Why would there being "no interest" mean I would have to give an explanation? As if "interest" wouldn't require one? Why would I "gauge interest" in the first place? And you don't know if it's a scum mindset but your logic chain says I'm making it up?-

I'm going to vote yea on anyone who gets put up to lynch on D1.
Because lynch everything.
Preference is Vett > Dooku > Bulge > Flames
I think that order best fits Oman's "sweet spot of talking enough to give us information, but not talking so much as to destroy the conversation when they're removed.""This Court has never held that the Constitution forbids the execution of a convicted defendant who has had a full and fair trial but is later able to convince a habeas court that he is 'actually' innocent." Under your theory, if therewasinterest in Bulge suspicions - rather than the opposite scenario which you say took place (there wasn't interest) - what would TTH-scum have done differently, here?"This Court has never held that the Constitution forbids the execution of a convicted defendant who has had a full and fair trial but is later able to convince a habeas court that he is 'actually' innocent." There's very little value in me storming around running conversation. There's much more in you guys leading charges. I'm happier with Vett over Bulge now that's he's talking, and not because I think Bulge is particularly useful until his last post, but because I don't ever dig the idea of lynching lurkers for lurking. Townies lurk too. Thems truths.
I don't like how harshly you reacted to Bulge's statements aimed at you, TTH. Calling it self serving drivel or the like (phone posting while visiting my folks) isn't valid. It's an overreaction at least. I think you're clouded by this "you are scum a day everything you say is lying manipulation" filter that you've set before your eyes. Bulge's comments to you could have been made by a townie, in innocence, though (from your perspective as a "confirmed town") mistaken.
I'm going to check green crayon's list right now and see if I do like Vett up that high in the list, because I'm not going to be motioning Bulge at the moment.
Flames needs to make similar content posts or I'm gonna have to cut a bitch. It's unfortunate that good oral sex excuses bad chemistry. - Korts-

Dooku is a much better choice for today.
Voting nay isn't like voting for a NoLynch in regular maifa. Anyone who says that they will vote yay for any lynch isn't playing pro-town. If the lynch comes back with all yay's, what information did town gain? That is like voting for the first RVS wagon, just because you want a lynch. I have a feeling this is going to end up being a long drawn out game given the mechanics of it. We need successful motions and motions that fail in order to figure out who is town and who is scum.
