Pushing a lynch on me early (policy or otherwise) is a surprisingly common scum opener from what I'm seeing right now, because I play abrasively enough that you can usually justify a vote, but read towny enough that I rarely get lynched for it.

It doesn't really matter if the results are accurate or not; The point is you only did it after Molla said something like 'I think the scum haven't posted' so you went and checked who was lurking and posted a convenient list of names for him. It wasn't your opinion the scum hadn't posted. You then didn't do anything with it while suggesting the 5 of us were lurking and I assume you think this is scummy (otherwise why did you do it in the first place?).

One of my phone tabs is typically on mafiascum even if I'm not doing anything so that could = online. Point being, me showing online doesn't mean squat.

On the subject of using quotes...the majority of my posts come from my phone and I very rarely use quotes on my phone (unless perhaps in a direct response to someone). If I'm on a computer then by all means...I'll quote quote quote.

I'm actually happy there is 9 pages for me to read through. I skimmed over them quickly to get an idea of why there is a wagon on BB, and did a few ISO's. A few thoughts for now:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this post suggests you think Lickety has acted scummily, but fails to explain why. Can you expand on your comment please, and also explain why you didn't point out your reasoning for the rest of us?

Initially I got a null read from Anna, but after looking at her abandonded newbie game I'm leaning newbie town. I don't believe the online/lurking thing is enough to justify a scum read. I see it as nothing more than an inexperienced player on this site trying to help scumhunt and not knowing any better. I don't like the votes on her and see them as weak and having poor justification.

@Anna: Do you have any reads at all? Your rvs vote is outdated and I would like to hear what you think of the wagon on BB and also the players voting for you. I'm also curious as to how you managed to find me online yesterday, as my settings have my online status hidden and I was asleep at the time? Weird.

I currently don't have any super strong reads. I'm feeling null for now. I feel that BB is being over defensive and I don't see why they need to go all out defense this early.

Um okay...could you explain why you think Im scum? Or did you just choose a random player...?
The only reason Im on the BB wagon is because:
1. I forgot to unvote
2. Right before I unvoted I had a thought to leave my vote on him just to see what the reaction would be (I think its called pressure vote?) I saw other people do this to me in my previous game, so I wanted to try it out. (Note this is my second game online ever)
3. BB's reactions are very aggressive and angry, which to me speaks scummy. But I have seen BB act aggressive and pissed when he is town and people are voting him. So right now I do not think he is Scum, I think this is just how he reacts. If it was any other player I would stay on the wagon.
4. Also I think he may be a PR, and I don't want to mis lynch a PR. (if he is a town PR that is)
5. And he is my friend and like he said I don't want to lynch him day 1.

I find the other reason I gave stronger. I dislike you suggesting meta defences are WIFOM while not being part of the wagon yourself. It is a soft attack and piles on pressure unnecessarily and for seemingly no town reason.

You didn’t demonstrate anything. Town does not need to climb the highest mountain and bellow over and over and over again that they are town. It is inferred that anyone is going to claim town – pointing it out multiple times is pointless fluff and looks scummy as hell to me.

You are trying to infer statements that I have not made. Hostility attracts votes - period. It does not matter what alignment you are, hostile players tend to get lynched. I have also seen plenty of people play very hostile as scum - it is almost entirely alignment neutral IMHO. The defense that hostile players are unlikely to be scum is bunk and scum like to try that ploy.
