Who would you like to talk to, then? Porochaz?

It seems to me that if you were interested in getting this Battlestar to Earth, you'd at least be remotely cooperative.

I'm not freeing LLD, sorry.

If I can remove the card that adds to treachery to destiny to prevent that from happening then I'll damage the viper for that, otherwise I won't.

You can do that. Which viper do you want to damage (you can damage from Space or Reserves, and the Assault Raptor counts as a viper)
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Think of this game like a... secret objective game. It's like dead of winter.

I win with the same win conditions as the town, but I have an alternative win condition which is [You only win if you minimize your interaction with Sky as much as possible.]

I don't like you, I think you're obnoxious. You play like you think everyone should know your alignment and you're perfect, but your actions were shit in the days leading up to me shooting you.

So get off your high horse, and choose. Either stop being such a colossal dick cheese, or stop talking to me and let me try and get my alternate win con.

My attempt at civility was "I don't want to talk to you."

And any other attempt by me to avoid fucking any interaction with this butt munch.

So let's continue on that path.

This strikes me as a cylon wincon. If you want my next action to be "Put a bullet through LLD's eyes", keep up the good work. You're not the only one with a gun.

Oh right, of course. That's what you want me to do.

I have no problems with you being unhelpful and antagonistic because I'm certain you're a cylon, and that's your deal. I'd really rather not deal with three cylons on the basestar bridge right now, thank you. Please enjoy your time in the slammer.

Ok folks, please listen up for just a moment.

We're going to need to talk to each other to get through this.

Things are looking a bit better recently, and I'd like to see more of other people bringing ideas to the table of what we should do. Go have a look at the skill cards if you haven't already, so you know what color you need, and more importantly, what other colors can do for you. Go look at the ship locations in the first post and get some ideas.

At the moment, we have JGDA, STD and myself. We can't rely on LLD even if we let her out of the brig. We also can't rely on CDB since he might change alignment at any given moment, but I'd rather have him at least pretending to be on our side and contributing to checks, manning stations on the ship, than over on the Cylon side pressing buttons that make our lives more difficult. He wants us to shoot raiders and basestars - that's an objective I can get behind.

We are probably going to jump very soon, maybe in the next skill check. When that happens, the Cylon's are going to want to warp in as soon as possible. Fortunately, God does have a plan, and that plan involves pilots - and both JGDA and STD are pilots. Good for us, bad for the toasters. I'd like to have both Hot Dog and JGDA in the air when bad things go down. That will probably right after we jump.

We are, however, running low on vipers. To repair vipers, or upgrade/build raptors to assault raptors, we need engineering cards. One of these cards can also repair damaged ship locations. Right now, the main concern is the damage to the Pegasus, however if the enemy fleet catches up, we can expect many more busted vipers and damage to our ships. We need engineering cards to fix this.

Trouble is, engineering is our weak point. I'm unable to draw engineering unless I play a quorum card, and you each get one per turn (perhaps). The cards we need to get bonus moves are in tactics, and leadership. If a player XO's STD, he can give everybody two cards of any set. This can largely offset our disadvantage. I will, therefore, probably use any XO I get on STD.

Finally, everything I said about resources before still stands. If we keep getting fed cards from STD, then we can avoid losing more resources. That will buy us more time to get further ahead. I can use quorum cards to regenerate resources, however they are 6+ and need strat plans to be viable. Additionally, STD can't feed us cards if he's in a viper. I'll probably move to the Demetrius if he has to move away to take over for this critical role.

We need everybody's ideas on what we can do as a group to maximise the efficiency of our team. I'm prepared to take sub-optimal turns for myself to benefit the group as a whole. Just now, we saw STD skip his turn to allow JGDA to take another turn, to help prevent us from losing even more resources. That's the kind of team spirit that we need to get through this.

What I think is the best way is not the only way and probably not the optimal way. Please speak up. If you have an idea, let's hear it.

...it's spelled JDGA. Other than that, I very much agree with what you're saying. With essentially three human players left, we need all the skill cards we can get (and if we can knock down an extra mission or two, that'd be great too). I can hopefully manage piloting well enough, and XOs on either of us are not a bad idea. Though, STD's the only one that regularly draws engineering, which definitely is going to be an issue. I'll be happy to switch to drawing engineering if necessary (should I draw engineering now maybe?) but that'll make me even less useful in skill checks. Other than that, can we
finally
get our jump?

As for our resources, food and population I'm not especially concerned about. Fuel is sitting on 6-for-6, which isn't the best but with some luck the destination deck will play nice and it won't be too much of an issue. And of course there's morale, which is... morale. I'll be a struggle to survive with 3 morale, and is the main reason why I'm nervous about switching my flex draw off of Leadership. Either way, I don't have much to do on my turn? I can try to shoot down the raiders if my skill draw plays nice, or (more likely) go after the crippled basestar and/or the civvie hanging out next to it. Landing probably isn't the best idea for me since assault raptor, two actions, etc. Opinions?

Not forgotten, just didn't have time to update since I was at work.

The last viper in reserve is damaged and A Better Machine is removed from the check, bumping up to a 22 and still a pass.

Reckless reveals: Violent Outbursts - 4; nothing happens.

That makes it JDGA's turn; since she hasn't indicated otherwise, I assume Starbuck still wants Leadership instead of Engineering on the flex draw.

I think........probably stick with leadership. Those cards are more suited to a player who has to take a lot of focused actions. Engineering cards are more support-type players in nature, which is basically my character.

I'll try to fix up busted vipers and ships, and juggle priorities on the Galactica. Leaving you free to do whatever you please.

I can draw engineering cards when I play a quorum card, and there are politics cards that allow me to draw cards also. However, I'll favor XO'ing other players so that we can prevent taking damage in the first place.

Movement: Play
Full Throttle (PIL 2)
: Movement or Action: If piloting a viper, you may move to any space area. You may then attack 1 Cylon ship in your area (even if you didn't move). Move to the aft, and take a cheap shot at a raider.
Original Roll String: 1d8
1 8-Sided Dice: (1) = 1

Action 1: Escort the civvie.
Action 2: CAG the unmanned viper to port-bow so we have at least a chance of shooting down that heavy raider when it jumps in. Wasting actions on Centurions is not my idea of a good time.
CAG Bonus Action: Play
Best of the Best (PIL 6)
to clear out the other raiders, and that should be the board as good as clear until we finally get our damn jump already.
Original Roll String: 1d8
1 8-Sided Dice: (4) = 4

(for those that don't recall, Best of the Best: Action: Play before a piloted viper makes an attack. Instead of rolling the attack, roll a die and destroy that many raiders in the viper's space area.)

I found this helpful quiz to identify Cylons with.
Are YOU a Cylon?

I got 77% "You are not a Cylon". I guess I didn't nuke Caprica enough to count :C
