Anyway, here is my "substantial" post I guess.

re: hydrate - I do think we need to carefully select who we hydrate. In a multiball game where everyone is vanilla, town loses. If we give our only power away to people likely to either be scum, useless, or nightkilled we are just going to hurt ourselves in the long run. However, given the game so far, I do see some town bloc potential, so maybe we can just box out the scum that way without worrying about night actions.

I like the idea of giving power to nulls. However, I'm not entirely sure I want to give power to the nulls in this game... I just worry that nulls are going to turn into activity reads meaning the less prolific posters are going to be the de facto nulls. Maybe I should start there with trying to read them, but that would require them to post. So... Yeah,

I don't really know much of a lot the "lesser known" players like Glass, TWIE, Ricastle, and Randomidget. I sure as hell am not going to give Zzzx power role (except maybe if he turned into a nexus and was guaranteed death, but I still probably would want Sonic Boom to have that )

That doesn't leave us with a lot of room on who to give the hydrate powers.
I do think we should try to force scum to make suboptimal night kills with it. Like, if we give APBros or Cait Sith or Ceph/Cheetory or even Seiko the hydrate powers, if those players are town it is most likely instant death and we lose our power.

I think the Cheetory + Ceph hydra is probably my strongest town read followed by pretty much any combination of Rune/Axehole and APBros/Cait Sith. Both those hydra have picked up their posting and feel more genuine than their first couple of posts

I don't really have a read on anyone else other than leans for town on Seiko/Singer, and leans for scum on Sonic Boom

I mean, sure, that is definitely a factor in my mind. But I do think Sonic Boom is scummy. Titus is already doing that weird capitulation as scum, while not really capitulating that she did in Signs and Void under pretty much the same exact circumstance and I find the push for a Policy Lynch to be really hypocritical and forced coming from that slot.

Plus, bandwagons are always good.

So what's your criteria on hydrating people if not those you think are town? I think the possibility that they have to play WIFOM with whether or not the other scum faction could also be targeting the hydrated player means that player might not necessarily die that night. If scum get it, there's theoretically no way for the other team/scum to know that the hydrated player isn't town.

Basically going for a big play to get more nightkills + lynches. Since Bacon and Egg was the biggest proponent of the Singer lynch I am hesitant to go after AP when I think more might be gained from a Bacon and Egg lynch.

They have played the most decidedly pro-town game all game in my opinion. I've had this opinion since Day 1. The only thing that gives me hesitation is the fact that they are a hydra and still alive. But, I dunno I think that is a bad reason to suspect someone.

Generally a game is a race to the bottom with the weakest townies alive in the endgame. A hydra, by its simple nature, is not a "weak townie". Although I guess the same could be said about your hydra too.

I think Espy is scum but on the off chance that I am wrong it auto confirms Random going into night and hopefully scum cross shoot or only one (hell even both) shoot at him.
