Minorities: I think his class-based approach is the right way to go. I haven't actually looked into specific details or plans, but I like his rhetoric more than Hillary's.
Women: I remember reading that thing Psyche linked about Sanders on women a while back (+ maybe some stuff I got from not mafiascum?). So I know he's good for women. I can't recall Hillary ever doing/saying anything bad for women which is why I said at least tied there.

I'm not gonna be too upset if Hillary beats Bernie (which I know she most likely will do). I might even break down into tears if Hillary beats one of the crazies in the general.

Though the more I think about it, the more I think that Kasich is the hero America needs. I should probably research him more to make sure my admiration isn't misplaced.

I think the class issues that many minorities face are because of systemic and personal racism. I think that trying to rectify the class issues will be more productive than saying racism is bad and hoping it goes away (though reminding people that racism is bad isn't a thing that should stop). So the first option.

Actually yes. He's a bright young man and his opinions are largely influenced by his surroundings. This might be the wrong medium for it, but he's rational enough to allow evidence to inform his positions.

Kmd - speaking as someone who seems to share similar views to you - you're completely wasting your time trying to make a point here. The people who post in this thread are ultra-liberal to a point. They all vote Democrat, and in fact they don't even like centrist democrats, as evidenced by the heavy Sanders support. They all believe that all minorities are being discriminated against systematically, especially black people, women and transgenders, and if you don't agree it's because of your white privilege. There should definitely have been an indictment in Ferguson, welfare state is great, defund the military, down with cops. And so forth.

I never said there shouldn't be students loans or that they were handouts.

I'm saying that at some point spending needs to be cut down if revenue is less than what you are spending.

And some of those spending cuts probably won't be popular and might not be completely progressively minded.
