Getting the ship damaged isn't very helpful when we don't really have Engineering, but I guess jump progress helps at least a little. Might have been nicer to wait and see if anyone drew SP, but oh well.

Possibly but I figure if Sky_Paladin wants to draw SPs for crises and I'm denying everyone the chance to grab them anyway to play that card I'd rather not waste one on it if we only get like one between us.

Damaging the ship might suck but it's not going to be the death of us, at least that's how I feel.

Everyone draws a Tactics card, and the Hangar Deck is damaged when STD pushed the limits.

Crisis is:
Mysterious Guide
Current Player Chooses:
Difficulty 11 Politics +
Leadership

Pass: Increase the Jump Prep by 1
Fail: -1 Fuel and the current player (Sky_Paladin) discards all of his skill cards.
OR
-1 Morale.
Activate Raiders

Since Tory is amoral, Sky_Paladin is forced to choose the skill check. Any interrupts?
One time, back in 'nam, Sudo was set upon by an entire squadron of charlies. He challenged them all to a game of Pictionary, which he won resoundingly. The charlies were forced to not only surrender the skirmish, but also their world-famous chili recipe, which Sudo sold to Texas for a hefty profit. Sudo is a master of diplomacy.

Somehow I suspect we weren't picking the latter anyway.
Pass on Interrupts

And oh dear god the fleet's about to jump in and we just got the Hanger Deck damaged
again
? :/

That's 24 hours, so CDB to get started.

I'm going to need some help on this check. If I lose my hand it's quite disastrous. We've already had JDGA have her hand tanked; so it's basically you and me, I think. Plus whatever Destiny has.

Sky_Paladin kicks in 5.

Total contribution is:
Preventative Policy - 4
Consolidate Power - 2
Consolidate Power - 2
Consolidate Power - 1
At Any Cost - 4
Declare Emergency - 3
Major Victory - 2
Executive Order - 1

Strategic Planning - 5

Calculations - 5

For a total of 9- Failure! -1 Fuel, and Sky_Paladin discards all skill cards.

Raiders activate: Raider is added to aft, then all pursuing ships warp in!

CDB to draw a card, being on the Resurrection Ship.

Yeah, I calculated inside VASSAL, and one of the cards got double stack, so i undercounted. It is a 9, in case somebody has a Declare Emergency to play.

I basically just threw away 3/4 of my hand to lose the rest of my hand. So it goes. If somebody can play to save the resource loss, please do so, otherwise save your cards for something more important.

I'm sorry, CDB. I thought we would get through this one.
