Me and my vote say because he's scum avoiding the game moving at a steady clip. And that it's very possible that one of his buddies was under at least SOME scrutiny at the time, and felt too awkward to drive convo elsewhere but also wasn't willing to bus quite yet.

Ok, so I definitely think Cabd is onto something. How I interpret this: he responded immediately to the Sonic post, which implies that he was following the thread, only to comment on something completely irrelevant. It's too early to assume why like you did, Cabd, but I agree that if he was indeed following the thread, it reads as nervous scum not knowing how to get involved into the thread.
