If you search her name in the replacement requests thread. most of those games have compelted by now i think. and check her alignment in those games. she was town in the ones she flaked in. she was lacklustre in the games she didn’t flake in. she’s currently restricted to 3 games due to excessive replacing out.

But I don’t want to play with someone with such a shitty trust tell. and the choose your own alignment thing combined with the “only flakes as town” thing was a really strong hint as to her probably alignment if she got her first choice (which it seems like she did, since she flipped scum).

Previously on Skold is barely even playing this game ''Though I'm starting to think of him as scum/sk that can't be NK'd. If that's the case I'd lean towards scum trying to draw a couple vig shots''. I mean that his Jester claim to me indicates that he wants a vig shot probably because he can block or reflect it.

mcmeno has only really come out to defend himself and that's just not good theater. I can go for a massive or a mcmeno lynch today with a wgeurts NK.

However, I think Massive might be a malignant third party which is why he is acting aggressive and uncooperative despite nearly dying less than a day ago.

I think setting himself on fire is potentially how he would be able to kill someone? He might be a vengeful townie (only role if town that justifies his behavior right now), but right now I'm thinking a serial killer type role.

When I say may, i am not obtusely saying in a roundabout way that I *DO* have an explicit anti-flame ability, but that I have an ability that I am uncertain to it's usefulness in an anti-flame situation, that may or may not have positive results when introduced to a person on fire. (IE: no, I wasn't specifically given a bucket of water)

it sounds like a cop out to get out of scumhunting though. you’ve found all the scum: everybody but you! no need to try to figure out anybody’s alignments since you already know them. but town isn’t usually the alignment that knows everybody else’s alignments so it’s confusing.

Are you worried about painting yourself into a corner by naming townreads because that happened to me once when I was scum, I was townreading someone and then I had to turn on her in LYLO but she didn’t do anything conveniently scummy at the right moment because she was town.

you need to step back a re-think what you are posting. So you were, given the odds, going to lynch an easy target. And even if you were not going to do that then your entire policy lynch is based on meta gaming at its worst.

Now if I were a set-up speculating man I would think that hugging a cat will make you not a jester. However, I am not the set-up speculating man, nor am I a cat. Furthermore I don't think it is worth the risk of giving a 3rd party non-town the power play.

I have come to two beliefs over the years about mafia, one more recently than another. Firstly that all meta, under all conditions, is bullshit. The second is that d1 town reads are not productive in most circumstances.

I have no problem naming townreads. I just have none. I also, however, have no experience with bastard games, so I may be putting more value in normal-game normal-expectations than I ought.

And in any event, I still have to figure out how to (a) survive to endgame and (2) figure out where the lines are drawn. If I'm the only townie, then there's likely multiple scum teams, and the only thing preventing one from winning is the presence of the other. Or, heck, otherS, I imagine. As a singleton townie I'm no threat to scum teams.

sure, but i was right about jeanne and it was a better reason than most rvs votes? i think i used “because i don’t understand what his avatar is a picture of” in one of my games? because username pun? because it’s a familiar face? i didn’t even stay on her that long before moving out of RVS but it feels kind of weird defending myself for hopping /off/ of someone who flipped scum?

I do wish she’d managed to avoid modkill a little longer; maybe she would’ve tied herself to somebody. as it was, she only responded to a couple people (me because of the policy lynch thing, wgeurts because of the jester thing).

Let's just say this as you seem to be stuck on your paranoia that you're the only town, even though it's been disproven multiple times. If there was only one townie, even with multiple scum teams, there would be

no way for you to win

. The second you eliminate one scum team, the other would endgame you.
This is a game of mafia. Vi read this setup. It's (relatively) balanced.
