Was considering swapping deity to The Red Knight, but she's from some Forgotten Realms setting book and Faiths and Pantheons, so I stuck with Heironeous 'cus he's core (and probably the raddest deity anyway).

Who (My character) trusted a mermaid and they both had sex for a long time and are still having sex and he never returned. Or at least that's how my new character without the OOC knowledge that he's dead sees it.

RECAP

Party travels through the broken wall. They run into a flooded chamber, where they meet an aquatic creature girl named Diana. Diana asks Who to follow her and take a look at something, and he agrees. Who does not return. (eaten by a monster)

After Shadow, Lorick, and Who2 joins the party, they travel further down into the floor where they run into Sarah, a refugee who got captured by goblins a few months ago. Other refugees got sick and were taken away, never to be seen again. She was returned safely to the camp.

Party then fights their way through the undead infested dungeon, only to discover a strange magical sigil on the ground. After a through examination, they realize that someone has been using the sigil to create undead monstrosities. They deface the symbol and leave the accursed place.

And again, nobody else knows that Who got eaten. From the rest of our perspective it is perfectly possible that he is screwing mermaids like Beowulf. (Movie version. Not Book version. Though actually idk, maybe he's screwing them like book version and there are just so many that he keeps kicking their asses but they keep coming)

re: Attacks of Opportunity



Here is a nice diagram from the WOTC's official website explaining how attacks of opportunity work.

Moving from one threatened square to another (square A to B, or B to E in the diagram)

will

provoke an attack, and therefore, trying to circle around enemies will usually provoke an attack.

I recommend tumble (it's a tumble check vs DC 15) which lets you move at half-speed through threatened squares without provoking attacks.

I'll be able to play then. Excited for Energy Gestalt. I almost died with Who after his character told me not to go with. I am also torn with some of the spells that I want since I wish I could learn them all... Sorcerers are able to learn spells through reading scrolls, books and the like. Can I learn a healing spell through that...?

I don't think you can learn divine spells as a sorcerer...though if you can you can also be taught spells...so I'm your Gnome!

yeah

monks were given access to tumble, bonus speed, and no armor (check penalty)

they were designed to be able to navigate across the battlefield to get to the enemy backline

A dwarf who merely comes within 10 feet of unusual stonework can make a Search check as if he were actively searching, and a dwarf can use the Search skill to find stonework traps as a rogue can. AYOOOO

and so now we're level 3 instead of having money
