In another forum when I was an idiot I had this role that if I did not kill a certain amount of people I would die.

Eventually I was jailed and people asked if I was the murderer. My response "Yeah I am guys, but if you let me live one more day I won't kill anyone and let the madness make me commit suicide".

Frankly no one believed me and i died by lynch not by the madness from my role. Truth was, I really just wanted to see what would happen.

That always happens. I have a theory that vig roles make townies much worse players for some reason. It's like a curse, vigs tend to do more damage to the town then entire scum groups.

The reason is probably because

1. There's a much higher chance of hitting town
2. The person doing the killing is one person who has to make the choice on their own
3. A person can generally out think themselves
