I was half asleep once. Swore I was posting in the mafia thread, but it somehow ended up in the actual game thread. I edited my post, and nobody found out. Unless I've been dreaming this.

You really shouldn't be comparing across games. I know you can't help yourself, but it's just a bad practice. You don't know why they are playing differently in different games. Don't do it because you recognize its bad, not because it's 'against rules' or w/e.

I know, it’s just hard to resist. It’s funny because I knew people were doing it to me when I was being obvtown as scum in one game and lacklustre as town in another game, and i wasn’t even trying ot do that it just sort of happened for reasons i couldn’t really understand and i knew my friends who were in both games were trying to figure out why i was being so lacklustre in the one game when they could tell it wasn’t site wide but even I didn’t (and don’t) have an explanation for what happened there. it was just a different dynamic in the different games and i couldn’t get my footing in the game i was town in and none of it was alignment indicative at all.

but it’s so tempting to do it to other people even when you have evidence (in a relatively small sample since i only have 7 completed games) that people trying to do it to me were drawing the wrong conclusions.

I've pushed lynches on people I believe to be town simply because they annoy me

I often get my reads by violently pushing wagon on the first player to even insinuate i may be scum

Sometimes I get my reads by pure random chance. It bewilders me when I see people refer to me as a "good" town player.

I have, on at least one occasion, flirted with women during games, only to turn around and scream at them... sometimes on the very same page.

I once actually did post drunk during a game, and offered to show my penis to everyone in the game. Woke up the next morning with dry blood all over my face and "FUCK MAJIFFY" written on the back of my hand in magic marker.

I secretly still regret that whole business with a certain player, but not enough to make amends. Not that he ever would. Pretty sure I've settled most of the other personal feuds I've had on this site.

One time in ignorance, we broke the rule about honesty tells. Thankfully did not get banned. Asked mod to remove post to keep it out of our meta, don't know if it was removed but doubt it since we think ppl quoted our post. Anyways, promised it wouldn't happen again and it hasn't. At least not full blown honesty tell.
