incidentally, I agree with both of these reads so far.

So far aeris and prohawk come off as town. Prohawk's meta is very distinct. Also if he's scum he'll more likely get caught up in a blatant fuckup than not. Aeris's responses to prohawk give me vibes that she wants to align her thoughts with Prohawk's. This comes from a skim of her posts and not a thorough parsing but whatever

Hey, long time no mafia. Looks like you all got started while I was asleep, and just about got out of random vote stage. Good, I never liked that.

I'd want to discuss the flavor just for fun.

So would I, though not just for fun. I think it may be possible to infer something about the setup using flavor and other available information. In fact, I'd like to share my own educated guess just to see whether I was right later on.

I'm betting on two scum teams, Shinra Company as main scum team with about four members for balance reasons, with Sephiroth and Jenova as a serial killer team, who would need special abilities to offset their lower number. I think what the mod said about scum being able to use both active and factional abilities simultaneously hints at such a team.

I also think that good guys in the game are going to be town, but the scum are going to have fake claims provided by the mod.

For now I don't think this is particularly relevant, but I did wonder about the speculation that Sephiroth would be a serial killer. If my theory about a serial killer team is correct, they would certainly want us to think there was only one of them. However, Sephiroth being a serial killer makes so much sense flavor wise that the speculation is pretty null.

I need to tell all of you that this post bugs me.

I did not like it either, but it was not because of the flavor. I'm more concerned about the whole WIFOM mess of entering the game so brashly. It is like saying look how town I am, I would never say this if I was scum. But then, you did the same thing in your first post, only worse.

Titus has done, put bluntly, no scum hunting whatsoever so far - everything she's pointed out has been shit that's entirely unrelated to anything relevant (her pointing out she gets "policy RVS"ed every game, for example). when she's town, some stuff she says seems illogical, but you can at least tell someone would think it's alignment-related.
