In the town Role PMs it says "YOU WIN WHEN THE GODFATHER IS DEAD."
It doesn't mention anything in the scum PMs.

That's not what's wrong with your idea. What I was referring to is that in general it is not a good idea to vote as you would in a normal game because if a townie gets to L-1, it is in scum's best interest to hammer.

Getting to L-2 isn't bad though

I am keeping my vote on Pegasus because scum can't and won't quickhammer, because of the godfather mechanic.
I believe the godfather exists to counter the quickhammer arguement.

IMO Pegasus is probably the goon for risky play, which makes Kaboose and I town and the GF a coinflip between ASP and Suzune.
My reaction test on Pegasus paid off, even if not in the way I thought it might.

I think that alone, what just happened, is enough to give me a 99% scum read on Pegasus and put him at L1, or even hammer if someone beats me to it.

This is what I think we should do...

If Pegasus flips town, who should they shoot?

If Pegasus flips goon, who do we look at?

I'm thinking optimal strategy is to ignore Pegasus because the godfather is ASP or Suzune.
We lynch either, if GF it's GG, if town shoot the other, GG.
Pegasus is 98% the Mafia Goon. You and I are town. Having both ASP and Suzune dead D1 wins us the game.

I agree with Pegasus' idea, but that being said, I don't like the idea of putting forth something that could be read as legit as an RVS reason. Cmon Mario, you know better.

perhaps it was more dangerous to vote then I had initially thought. However no mafia would push a quick hammer so early in the game because it would give provocation for the vengeful to choose them. Or at least I would like to think no one would do that.

This interaction with Pegasus doesn't seem like a scumbuddy interaction, but it does appear independently scummy on Suzune's part because she never played this setup before (I think) and yet this feels like she can see from a mafia POV.

I think you are on for the right idea though Mario. If you ever look at it from the perspective of odds. With only a fifty percent chance of a quick hammer being successful, it is just okay. The benifit of playing some before the hammer clearly would out weights a coin flip. This assumes two things though, thus making it flawed, first that s townie would never hammer during during the opening moments and second that the mafia did not think the situation through first.

Still not Pegasus's scumbuddy.

Also, I'm not sure I like Kaboose's 18- it feels like meaningless noise, and the logic is grasping at straws because it proposes several alternate theories. For example, based on the logic surrounding his quotes, at least one of Kaboose and Suzune must be scum to make that logic apply. In addition, it proposes that none of the voting players are scum, which requires disregarding the first argument altogether.

Kaboose, why waste keystrokes with the most basic of logic?

This feels like trying to appear town by challenging Kaboose, but the logic is "he's wrong so he's scum."

I was right last time, I think I may be right again. The Vengeful element turns off on D2 so if wrong I'll just go with Suzune

Bear with me here, folks, because this may seem a bit far-fetched, but...

When did we EVER clear Mario? It would be a brilliant GF scum tactic to lead a lynch on his partner; it would make him almost conftown going into D2, and when either Suzune or I get lynched, the other goes down easy D3 for a scum win.

Couple that with the fact that the self-hammer didn't allow Suzune or I to make the move ourselves, and it paints the both of us in a negative light even though she did declare intent.

Now, I'm not going to sit here and resist a lynch in myself because I will admit to having contributed little, but this is a request to Kaboose: DON'T SHEEP MARIO D3 just based off of the Pegasus lynch! Take time and figure this game out.

Probably useless to do so, but still...
