Thanks for a good game everyone!
"You are indecisive, change opinions like none other. If you want me to support your lynch then thats fine I will, the only reason you have to vote me is because I unvoted you? Thats fine, D1 Lynch will be you or I, because at this point you are a hindrance to town, and I dont see you ever helping because your view changes with the wind."

Your last one has a slight statistical advantage overall from what I've read, but in my experience as a mod, the replace out rate for new players is high, period, regardless of alignment.

This was mostly a tongue in cheek reference as during the game I tried to use it to support my claim that bulba was scum and I got shouted down.

Having said that, I have played 2 newbie games now and 3 people replaced out of each game and both times 2 of those 3 were scum (and if you don't count Thespio as a replacement because it happened right at the start then it is 2 out of 2 in this game!) Those statistics are even worse when you remember only 2 out of the 9 slots are scum in the first place.

Thanks for modding fferyllt and thanks for keeping my company in the PT when there was no kill the first night.

Well played, BBT!

Thanks for the game everyone :D

Thank you for modding, fferyllt! You were great!

I was pretty shocked, too. I thought that once I brought their attention to my Day 2 play (and point out the fact that, when asked directly, bbt wouldn't comment on anything Day 2 related), town would stop doubting my alignment @_@ Boy was I wrong.

...You hammered me </3

I think you could have spent the day trying to convince Joram to reconsider his vote. It doesn't take much to get him to unvote/vote. It would have been difficult but at least try, right? :P Why the rush to end the game? Did it seem that hopeless?

I have to wonder...did you or joram even read any of my last posts?

Why, what? This doesn't even make any sense.

I'm with Aku that Thespio seemed pretty convinced that Aku was town, so he should have held out longer to vote Aku. If Aku and Thespio both voted BBT then if Joram wanted to end it quickly he would have had to vote for BBT too.

See, this is the problem. Why were you focused on the next day? You were in Day 5. Work towards changing Joram's vote on Day 5 (why bother trying to prep him/get him to vote differently Day 6?). If you felt like it was too much to do on your own, you could have waited until after I came back from work and we could have both pressured Joram to change his vote together (I got him to reconsider his vote last night on my own, I'm sure with the both of us pushing him we might have had a chance).

I wonder where the hopelessness came from/giving up on Day 5?

Thanks man.

Yeah, when you kept bringing D2 up I just kept trying to redirect it to D1. Had your D2 been analyzed I don't know what I would have done because it was fairly unlikely for you to be scum with Bulba. Voting you and allowing Thespio not to hammer gave me an emergency exit as I wouldn't need to explain why I didn't die if we decided to no lynch (which I was worried about)

In post 1308, Thespio wrote:Aku to be honest it killed me to end it, but we lost and i knew it, i was gonna die, regardless of nk Joram would lynch you :/

This is pretty weak reasoning and it looks like you're trying to absolve yourself for losing the game (which isn't a nice thing to do).

Thanks Plot, I should have known you'd be watching :P

So, did you have me as scum?

i wasn’t watching all that closely because overextended but no, i fell for your gambit. i think i thought thespio was scum for a while (but i wasn’t watching closely enough to be able to articulate why, sorry thespio).

eh, maybe maybe not. look forward to that day, though. :)

the game i was ICing finally finished today as well. i might have salvaged mine but i made a dumb nightkill choice. don’t take your two top townreads into lylo and pretend to be mislynch bait; it doesn’t work.

we were in lylo for over a week, everyone was rereading stuff and making a big show of pretending to be town (well i guess they weren’t pretending) but I just ran out of things to pretend to analyse. i even meta dived one of them to see what he was like as scum; turns out I was playing his scum meta, so i couldn’t make a towncase for him “when he’s scum he acts like i’ve been acting all game and he hasn’t been acting like that here so he’s probably town”.

you were great though. you deserved this win <3

Thanks Plot, much appreciated. I really thought the game was over once Bulba got lynched so I'm quite proud that I pulled it off.
