Which posts were Hecatia trying to project overconfidence? What is their scum benefit for doing it? You hopped onto the Hecatia wagon when it was in full swing. But your reasons aren't even close to what I found scummy about them in the first place. That makes me think you hopped on there because it was the cool thing happening at that time. Your justification is weak. I wouldn't characterize Hecatia's posts as "filler." They had taken solid stances at that point.

Town to scum:
Lying Cat--The interaction with Thor seems TVT, both seem like they have differing opinions but they're trying to maximize information and see where the other is coming from.
Thor--Town, same reasoning as lying cat.
Wingback--Has been pretty good about getting information and pushing most people
Concrete Angels--Shares thoughts freely, questions people, towny. But not as thorough as the 3 above him.
massive--The few posts he has are pretty good
Cataphant--Nothing that screams scum, but not a lot of justification for actions.
Vedith--Most of the posts at the beginning were defensive, but now is starting to take a stand
Ankamius--Seems a little sloppier than the game I played with him where he was town, but granted that's a meta read so I'm holding off to have an opinion on him
The bulge--Where are you????? Why hasn't he been prodded, he hasn't posted in over a week.

1. Where did Lying Cat and Thor "maximize information" and "see where the other is coming from?" Can you quote the relevant posts and bold the sections where you think they did this and explain why you think it is town?

I don't think they successfully saw where the other was coming from, I think that was their intention in pushing each other and asking each other questions. And the interaction itself gave us information about them. I'm talking about 656 and 658.

2. What about Massive's posts did you like? Can you link or quote those specific posts and explain what you liked about them?

Massive had good reasons for voting Hecatia in 192. I like how he makes Vedith clarify in 308, and how he asks Ankamius to follow up in 540. Although now that I read his iso again I don't like the buddying in 657.

3. The Cataphant read seems like a cop-out. Elaborate on it.

Cataphant's vote for vedith in 153 was sheepy, a lot of the posts are agreeing with the consensus like 173 and 228 but I don't find those scummy per se. It doesn't seem like there's any motivation behind them other than laziness.

4. Why are you "holding off" on Ankamius because it is a meta read? Do you not trust meta-reads? If not, why is your Farside read based solely on meta but you are not "holding off" on it?

No I don't trust meta reads, my farside read wasn't based solely on meta, but I am holding off on it because it's a replacement slot and I haven't seen the replacement yet (unless they came in after you made this post asking me questions, which I will see when I catch up after I answer your questions)

5. What do you think of Hecatia and Davsto pushing each other? You are scumreading both of them so does it affect your reads that two of your scumreads are scumreading each other?

Both pushes are lazy pushes. It could be bussing, I could be wrong about one of them.

The not scumread of Bulge is because he only had like 2 or 3 posts, that was before he was replaced.

For the first part of the game, farside was underwhelming. Like 167 was mostly agreeing with others, 168 is what I mean by underwhelming, I didn't like 198, I hate "I've said too much already" kind of stuff.

Why is your vote still on Dav? Do you think that he is lying then?

He avoided taking a stance on anything in his early play, yes, I think he's lying about being The Birds.

At this stage scum will want to get rid of the jailor, but try and make it viable to town. Concerning Dav's reads on people, did you feel that there wasn't enough effort in them or did you just not like them?

I don't like the slight push with no hard back up (considering that lynching Dav is going to be near enough impossible today)

There was probably at least one scum on the Lying Cat wagon, so I'm going to look at the 6 living players who lynched him.

Davsto and Hecatia claimed so they're off the hook (for now, at least.)

The first thing Thor said in early game is that he has a slight townread on Cataphant. In 61 he was okay with lynching Concrete. He had an early issue with Davsto. Spent most of the game questioning and arguing, in 124 he switched his vote to Hecatia, then back to Davsto in his next post because he changed his mind. That switch seemed natural and townish to me. In 150 Thor changed his vote to Vedith for posting elsewhere. Continued pushing people. Including Lying Cat, but voted Ank in 495. Then he continued arguing with Lying Cat, gave some genuine reasons for scumreading. Voted Davsto again in 702. I think it's odd that he wasn't already on Lying Cat at this point (given that that's who his final vote would be for, and he was arguing with LC quite a bit.) Changed to Ank again in 712 after Davsto's claim. In 940 Lying Cat and Ank were tied for his top scumread. Finally voted Lying Cat in 999. There was a lot of buildup and he had been scum-reading LC before.

Thor is a townread. It seems he was avoiding the LC wagon until he was certain it was going to go through, which I'm reading as a sign of caution.

Nacho replaced in after Bulge's inactivity. He was honest upfront that it would take him a few days to catchup, good. His first vote in 777 was for Hecatia because he didn't like not science's posts, but he didn't say which posts he didn't like, or what was not to like about them. Bad. But then he followed that up with more examples. Good. And I remember why I was townreading him while he was catching up. He voted Cataphant in 880 after previously saying he was okay with voting Cataphant, but didn't really say why Cataphant was scummy. Bad. But again, he elaborated later after people asked. So that's okay. Voted for Lying Cat in 1020, saying he wanted to "reserve a spot on the wagon." I don't have a good idea of why he was scumreading LC. Then he checked out and was comparably weak today.

So I'm still okay with voting Nacho, still going to check out Vedith and Cataphant.

After RVS, Vedith was inactive and people were pointing out that he was posting elsewhere. I think that's annoying but not a strong scummtell--sometimes other games are more interesting, or more important stuff is going on in them, and town players have done the same thing.

First proper post was 202, in which he voted for Cataphant for joining an easy wagon. But he had a negative opinion towards a flash wagon that early in the day. He started engaging with people, asking them to clarify and sharing his opinions on the wagons. But still, nothing he did seemed terribly controversial. Voted ank in 434, citing associative things, bad to base a lynch off of in day 1. Then voted me in 1085 because of my opinion on Dav after he claimed. Voted LC in 1101 after urging from Wingback. Was engaging through most of the game, but a lot of the questions were obvious filler-type questions, and mostly voted LC to sheep. Weak scumread.

Cataphant voted farside in RVS. Their next post was a real vote on Hecatia in 86 for "weirdly aggressive questioning." Changed to Vedith in 153[post] after other people had already started that wagon because he was posting elsewhere. Shared opinions, played game, etc, voted me in [post]579 because I look like second option scum that gets passed over. Then voted LC in 1034 because of the weird claim he did. Then went back to me, and then back to LC. Which seemed like an unsure town player trying to figure out alignments. I can see why people are voting Cat because of sheeping and weak pushes, but I think Nacho is still a better target.
