I view RVS as sort of an ice breaker. It allows people to talk and make mistakes. When a person makes a mistake, then that is when RVS starts to end.
What kind of meaningful mistake can be made when everyone is simply making a joke vote?
They don't make mistakes from the votes themselves (unless they say they are voting using a system like random.org or something, drawing attention to them) but when conversations arise from the votes that is when mistakes can easily be made.
But how do conversations arise from the joke votes?
Why are you trying to get a RVS debate?
And why are you putting yourself into a conversation between two other players?

Well isn't how this game has turned out? I made an RVS vote that caused RC to vote me which caused a conversation. Hopefully I am explaining this well...
This almost makes me reconsider my townread on Super. What's the purpose of the last bit?
In post 32, Soapbar wrote:I'm pretty sure RC was just reaction testing. Nothing about your RVS vote was particularly scummy to me.
But I can't speak for her.
What was the point of Garciaing this?

Dayvig shot at Supercool898
What was the point of this gambit?
In post 38, supercool898 wrote:Welp, back to waiting a week for a new game. I wasn't scum. So far I think RC and Slandaar are town. I guess Soap is conftown then. Btw when do I die? At the end of the day, or when Chaos comes back?
This reaction seems somewhat town? Super seems like a bit of a freshman here that didn't know about the gambit.

UNVOTE:
OK, real talk, I'm not a dayvig, that was a complete and total gambit. I decided to do it because I didn't think the wagon would yield any results on anybody else outside of you so it didn't help us.

Yep
This is like the horrendous logic you comndemned Super for? This seems like a post planned for covering up the gambit unless I'm missing something?
1) Because I had already started confronting him before. What does me questioning a player who made questionable moves have to do with anything?
2) Read what you quoted dude, SC thought that he had been voted because of his RVS vote, when it was pretty obvious RC was reaction testing. (At least I think it was pretty obvious he was, he gave no stated reason for the vote and said it was non-rvs)
3) Two Reasons: First is, With the line of questioning we were heading down, any results from said questioning would only tell about him, and if a wagon started to form then it would be pretty easy for scum to get on it and coast on it for an easy lynch. Second is if he was scum then it would be a quick confession in case he bought the trick.
5) What does my logic and Super's logic have to do with each other? I condemned Super for pulling arbitrary logic out of his ass to justify his reaction to RC's vote. That has nothing to do with a fakevig. And what reason do I have to cover up the gambit? What motivation do I even have to do that as Scum? Your townreading Super (I guess?) but if I'm scum then Super has to be Scum also, since the only reason I would pull that fakevig as Scum would be to save his ass.
