This is why governors should have to act pre-emptively.

They'd be boned by quickhammers.

Yep. Governors in general are not good design. There needs to be a reason to govern lynches other than to screw quickhammering scum.

A governor who both prevents the lynch and the NK would be interesting as either alignment.

For fuck's sake, don't anyone else listen to Oil Tycoons.

They might be have green letters, but they're Scum motivated.

Day 5 Draws to an End

You return to the dining hall well before sunset today. One of your companions has clearly had enough of you all. She throws down her card and spits "You wouldn't even talk to me in the end. What kind of enlightenment is this?" She turns on her heel and leaves you stunned.

Finally, you draw yourself up and go to look at the cards on the side table.

The new card, as you expect now, is in the lower left. The card shows a woman reclined on a chaise. She's well dressed and coiffed, as though just home from a party. A pillow on the floor displays the symbol of the planet Venus. She rests on hand upon her stomach. The other hand is raised, cupping a purplescent ball of magical energy. While she is clearly the Empress, she's like no Empress you've seen in other decks. Rather than the green of growing things, she is surrounded by red, purple and black. You can almost hear her ask ironically, "Looking for a mother figure?" She reminds you that Life is cyclical. Birth and Death, Creativty and Destruction, Flowers and Seeds, Tides and Seasons.

Placed as she is, beside the card representing Death, she strongly suggests that Death is not an ending, and that irrevocable transformations may mean there is no going back, but definitely do not mean that there is no going forward. Water and Earth are quite complementary here. You like that this message lies in the part of the spread devoted to the querant's attitude.

Day 6 Dawns

It seems you sleep less and less each night. The early morning is grey and misty outside the tall windows of your bedroom. You walk down the stairs and into the dining room, to find yourself first this time. Well, not the first after all. Someone has left another card on the side table.

Image

Click the image to see a larger version.

The new card is in the lower right, depicting a man and a woman in a laboratory, both young. Each pours their own beaker of liquid together into a larger beaker over a bunsen burner. One liquid is blue and the other is yellow. The two colors are distinct in the rising mist that spirals from the heated beaker, like a coiled double helix. The mist coalesces into the form of a yin-yang symbol above their heads.

The Two of Cups heralds two people crossing paths and knowing there is something more than meets the eye; the dawning of a deep attraction and partnership that can happen only the whole is greater than the parts.

In this grouping representing destiny and fate, the card suggests the crossing of paths was sure to happen. Beside The Heirophant, this card suggests the crossing of paths has deep spiritual significance for both.

VOTE: Bacde

The fact that we were both lovered until the start of today and not killed suggests scum. If scum did it then they would have known that it wore of today.
No one admitted it for town so it was probably a scum move. The only reason I can see scum doing it is to force my power if Bacde was lynched yesterday.

Unless there's anything else this is where I am voting.
I claim scum \o/

VOTE: bcade

I don't necessarily agree with that line of reasoning (if he's town, scum just assumes he dies eventually) but I've been wanting this lynch to happen now for days.

Why is everyone ignoring voting Anen?

Literally this guy hasn't done shit, I don't understand why in his case its allowed to slide while I'm town over here and people think I'm the automatic lynch even though its gonna result in vedith dying too

No shit I wasn't killed overnight, I'm a bomb

I don't know why vedith wasn't killed, probably because scum thought they could easily two-for-one us with a lynch on me, which is probably why they lovered us
