I will not scumhunt because I'm terrible at it, lilith. I know my strengths and weaknesses, and scumhunting, on D1 especially, is not one of my strengths. I do better with reasoning through people's actions and claims. Stop asking a fish to climb a tree. It won't happen.

How are you going to get better at it unless you try? Hell I'm pretty bad at it myself, I'm still a noob, and I'll be the first one to admit it. That doesn't mean I refuse to put effort in. I'm doing the best I can with what I have, and through trial and error, and experience, hopefully I'll get better at it. If you're town, your attitude is really hurting us here. Scum wins much more easily when town is apathetic about finding scum--aka scumhunting. If actions are what you're better at, why don't you look at our votes? We have plenty to look at.

Pedit: Agreeing with Jester, our words in this game basically are our actions, since nights are so far apart.

If somehow Diamond is genuine about this: Diamond, here is the problem, everyone here was a noob at some point, I still probably qualify since I have only been here a few months. You are not adapting to the meta or the way the game works here at all. Saying, don't lynch me cause I don't want to analyze things d1 is going to cause this exact wagon every game. The reason for it is not physically possible to win a forum game of mafia if you only look at actions and not words. Honestly everyone can analyze actions, but to say that you have nothing to contribute d1, and outside of a few remarks d2 on the night actions have nothing else to contribute means that you are effectively already lynched if you are town.

Skimmed briefly. Didn't like Diamond but I liked his wagon even less, and imo scum would've yielded to pressure and just posted some stuff by now. I'm also getting deja-vu from this other game where nearly the exact same thing happened but with different people. I intensely, intensely dislike playstyles like his, but I've had to resign myself to the fact that some people are just like that. Anti-town can be, but is not necessarily, scummy. It is, however, blatantly unhelpful.

Got a violin lesson soon, so I'll read more carefully when I get back in an hour or two.

And as of right now, there's nothing for me to look at in my eyes. I was trying to leave the scumhunting to you guys, and I'll start to really get to work next day.

Also, I guess this was probably my fault. I was too excited about 2 scum factions that I failed to notice the only PR was doctor, which doesn't give much for me to look at. Depending on how this day finishes (assuming I survive) I might just sub out. I'm not a huge fan of games without a lack of PRs.

PEdit: I'm not a noob to mafia. That's how I know I suck at scumhunting. Because I have a lot of experience in mafia, but I still suck at mafia. Also, I wasn't saying I have just stuff to say off of actions on D2. I use night actions as a springboard to make more in-depth conversations.

I work best with actions based off of solid evidence (e.g. lynches, wagons, flips, night actions) instead of people's wishy-washy stances.

Well, you have to mod noob games, and then regular games, before getting to theme games which I've found more interesting.

And I meant noob as in n00b, not newb. I'm not new to mafia either, and I still suck at it too. But I'm consciously putting in effort to ask more questions when I see discrepancies. I think it's great that you know what your strength is, but when you say "I don't scumhunt. ever," that really limits your capabilities.

Pedit: actually I believe it goes regular games --> theme games. Newbie games require more experience to mod as well.

Aside: Can we not call anyone noob or newbs in this, it really bugs me whenever someone calls someone else a newb especially when they are not, its shameless attempts at discrediting/superiority shit.
