Anyways, I do think Chaotic isn't as strong town as he once was for me, but I don't like the consensus shifting that way. I don't really trust consensus much.

If it's because I said I would hammer ASP at deadline if we need to, the reasoning there is that even though I don't want to lynch ASP, I know 100% that I'm town whereas I can't say the same about him, so his lynch is slightly better than my lynch. And if he happened to flip scum, that would actually give us loads of information. Unfortunately if he flips green we don't get that much given that the only case on him is that he's lurked D1.

Also if neither of us is lynched today, night actions have the potential to clear you, which would immediately end this discussion one way or the other.

That's an interesting theory, it definitely would give them enough town cred to coast into LYLO. But I feel like I would only bus if I had to, if my scumbuddy was already going down. The way Tere did it would be totally unnecessary if the team is ASP/Tere, there was no heat on ASP. scum!Tere could have just jumped on any of the other wagons instead.

I think scum has been trying to avoid bussing, which is why if I'm right about CN I would look straight to FA_Q2/Tere slots, especially seeing how these last few votes play out. I can see a Vedith/Pers team doing some soft-bussing but that's the only one that fits for me the way I'm looking at it. Wildcard would be ASP/Pers hard bus, but Pers put ASP in serious danger of being lynched a few days ago when he switched off me to ASP.

I know personally I tend to bus, even though I want to kinda change that about my own play.
Day 1 busses are pretty typical even for micro games.

I guess I just think it because of how quickly the three L-1 wagons sprung up, based on pretty weak cases.

TBP hit L-1 super early into the game for lurking and saying he didn't feel the need to defend himself. I don't think scum would push their partner that early.
You hit L-1 because FA_Q2 hopped onto your wagon as soon as Pers did. I'm assuming you're going to say you aren't scum, so there's no bussing there from your point of view.
ASP hit L-1 because he is lurking and not commenting on much. I don't think Tere is bussing for the reasons I said above, so if scum!ASP is getting bussed then it's one of the three people that jumped on afterwards (you, FA_Q2, Vedith). But that would be a very hard bus by any of them, because he's a real risk to get deadline lynched, and they could have easily jumped on my wagon instead.

In theory I think you have a point, scum may or may not decide to bus. But the speed of the wagons in this game feels to me like they didn't. I don't really have a solid way of knowing one way or the other, I'm just basing it off how I would probably play it if I were scum.

tick tick tick... gonna go to bed soon, I have to get up early for work tomorrow so I'll check in right before deadline to vote on ASP if it's absolutely needed. But it's weird that everyone is content to let us sit like this up to deadline. I really don't think ASP makes for a good lynch and I feel like FA_Q2/Vedith/FB votes on him are pretty unexplained, like FA_Q2/FB implied it was for pressure more than anything.

If he gets hammered and flips scum, we can probably clear Tere/Vedith as town, barring some incredible bussing. But if he flips green I don't think it will change my reads all that much. Honestly me flipping green is probably better for the gamestate as otherwise we'll be left with a lot of the same pushes/questions going into D2 on a lynch of ASP.

TBP, if someone else comes in and hammers ASP while I'm asleep, I think you should check CN tonight. I am a magic user (but not a wizard), I'll tell you that investigative result now. So investigating me won't clear me and would be a waste, whereas he can theoretically be cleared.

If you get a night result that CN doesn't use magic which - I think - would clear him as town, I'll rethink my view on this entire game (and probably wind up being the D2 lynch )
