I don't know why you're lecturing me, I'm just being honest, as a spy I'd probably fail this mission

But I'm not

The only reason I bring that up is because who a player is can determine a lot, in face to face I have a very brash, risk taking friend who always takes the risk and fails a mission despite how obvious scum it makes him because he wants the fail

If you really want this to succeed, choose 3 players from our playerlist who are least willing to take big risks as spies.

Im pretty certain this first mission wont fail regardless cuz ive said it like 10 times now.

But id rather have people I trust take place for the inevitable " oh they sure didn't fail the first round lets give them more chances and pretend like we actually learned something."

Because i may not be a resistance pro ive played enough mafia to ignore it when people are like "im town"

Pedit will consider. Dont know the answer to who is thr least risky tho.

In addition there is no point to bring that up as town, I'd have just failed the mission and blamed the other two while saying I'd never take that risk.

So you think Lilith and BNL are the type who wouldn't fail the first mission?

If they do all they have to do at this point is blame me

But in a way, sure. Makes it easier for me to find spies when I know for a fact it's 1 of 2 lol

I'm still unconvinced this gives us any information but I think if a spy is in the three they'd be crazy to lose on the first one. I feel less comfortable with BBMolla though so I'd almost prefer the next three go.

If I'm a spy I'm failing this mission because that's the kind of person I am.

Don't see the town motivation behind this post.

In post 48, lilith2013 wrote:Also, I would think that as a leader you're confirmed to yourself so you would want to choose anyone except yourself to go on the mission to maximize the information you get. Or is that wrong?

This thought process kinda makes me think Lilith is town. In past games, I notice when scum leaders talk about excluding themselves in group selection it's oftentimes to appease others. Lilith's thinking here of why she believes a leader would want to exclude themselves, which easily includes herself next round, is to expand on investigation from her point of view. It follows through to a natural conclusion for her.

It's along the same line that I think is bugging me about BNL's suggestion. As I said before, of a similar tactic I've heard where you send the first two leaders automatically, it's to judge the reaction of the second leader going into the next round. That rationale makes sense to me. Alternatively, to send the first three leaders so there is more connection between groups to find scum is a vague statement with a vague possible outcome or benefit for himself, except for being in the group.

Fluminator, answer mah question. Also, I think there totally is a difference which first three go first in this case, especially if you feel there's scum in the pile.

Are you referring to yourself or talking to Save the Dragons in the first half here?

I just assumed you nominated yourself, Lilith, and BNL because you agreed with BNL's idea. What about them makes you go, "they are least willing to take big risks as spies." ?

Well if bbmolla's team is confirmed/approved you'd have to nominate a team of 4.

By a vote of 8-2, the proposed team is
ACCEPTED
! The three selected members start to make plans and call in favours to ensure they can capture the occupied forces HQ, but is one (or more) of them secretly calling in favours with their Imperial superiors instead? Eventually the fateful day of the operation arrives...

BBmolla, lilith2013, and BulletNLynchproof now have 24 hours to either
pass
or
fail
the operation. Due to half-speed-weekend-time weirdness, this extends to (expired on 2015-11-30 18:45:00).

And the mission results are...

Spoiler: Result
ImageImageImage

Resistance, you have successfully completed the first operation! With the occupying force's leadership now in tatters, it's now going to be possible for you to strike at the Empire directly. As such, your next target is an important Imperial military base. This operation serves two purposes: Firstly, more weapons to arm the Resistance rank-and-file with is always good. Secondly, there is also a conduit for accessing the automated Capitol defence systems there, which you should be able to use to shut them down. This will make your final assault significantly easier, so successfully completing this operation is of vital importance.

It is now
lilith2013
's turn to propose a team to undertake the second operation. Four team members will required, all of whom must
pass
the operation for it to succeed. Good luck!

Why?

Do you think I'm a spy who passed the mission? (I'm not) If so, what makes you think so? (Note that since only 3 missions are required to win, intentionally losing one is a huge gamble)
