EBWOP: It has been my experience that players who drop out of games and need to be replaced are usually pro-town. I'm not ready to vote yet, but I am going to vouch for BattleMage.

Your sub-theory is an interesting (if not self serving) observation.

As far as his scumminess goes, I think his attack on Cicero is fueled by bad logic. He has promised a retort, so I will be reserving any further judgement until then.

I must say I find it mighty 'convenient' how you cover both your own a** and that of BM in one go. Perhaps there is a trend of pro-town players being more likely to drop out, but I still think it's more down to external circumstances. You can't clear someone just because they replaced in; I could point to many examples where I've seen replacements being scum.

Happily. I sit around looking for reasons to post, frankly. But you'll have to be more specific about the extra information you'd like. Otherwise I'm gonna have to start singing broadway show tunes. And no one wants that.

Just to point out though, you've been in the game two minutes and have done self-serving metagaming and an omgus. This should be fun.

I should clarify that I wanted to remove the vote because the reason for my vote on CLA was largely to pressure him be more active. I can't use that reasoning with Doctor Guppy.

As far as i'm concerned, the case is there. I don't see why i need to explain myself further. The number of people who have been BWing for no reason up till now, is staggering. I've done my bit, now its up to the rest of you to either take it or leave it.

You havent responded to my post. And OMGUS is not a scumtell, but it is often regarded as a newb-tell (wrongly imo, but thats not relevant here).

I don't know. I guess because you've taken a lot of flak from these people. Plus, I personally think it's more constructive to say "I think So-and-So is town" than "I think So-and-So is scum."

Funny, I keep thinking that's why I keep getting FOS'd. I'm posting so I must be scummy. I sympathise. But that wasn't why I maintained my vote. It was why I almost removed it.

Well I'm a newbie so I could be wrong about it. I'm just following the basic idea of illogical behavior and distracting play being all you have to go on, especially on day one. It's cumulative as well.

See, this is exactly why I usually don't replace into games in progress. The person before me has already accumulated a bad reputation, which I inherit. Then, my cursed newbieness only makes matters worse. Ultimately, I get lynched, or worse, get talked into a roleclaim, which gets me NK'd. But enough about why replacing should be prohibited.

Anyhoo, we're at a Mafia-favoring parity right now, and I would like that to change.

Ya know I really hate replacements who have replaced scummy players who don't answer questions directed at them. I tend to want to give them some lee-way however in this case I'm not going to.

If anyone wonders why then view CLA's posts then Guppy's posts. 146 well just is one gigantic amount of appealing to emotion. Guppy if your town which at this stage I seriously doubt, then please endeavour to play better. One it's not helping catch scum. Two it's making their life much easier.

I'll try and digest the BM/Cicero argument later. BM my nuke joke was obviously just a joke, I've been wanting to do it ever since Yos' Mutual Destruction game.

Please answer the following questions:
1. Why, in your opinion, would a No Lynch vote help the town?
2. Are you trying to get yourself lynched because you have thought better of being involved in this game?
3. How newbie could you possibly be if you have a track record of what happens when you replace people?
4. Why do you replace people if you don't believe in replacing people?
5. Was there actually some additional input you thought might be helpful from me, as you suggested? If so, what? If not, why did you suggest there was?
6. Why are you making yourself look scummy by not answering questions posed to you? Is it because of the suggestion implicit in my question #2.

For the record, at this point, I'm not finding you all that scummy so much ast... I dunno. High strung. You and Battlemage, man. I'd pay to watch that fight in the Octogon... Everyone here is busy trying to eliminate you as a suspect and you seem hellbent on stopping that.
