Can we pretend that isn't how this ends? Mostly because of the shitty second series that REALLY stretches out a series that was already feeling long by the end. I forgot about the little shit kid, but honestly he's a really important part of Ellie's development and he actually becomes quite not-a-cunt by the end. Goddamn I love that story.
