I started with Pokemon in Gen 4, so I'm probably going to do some stupid things, especially regarding physical vs. special attacks.

Relatively, how easy is it to get moves that aren't learned by leveling up? Also, in case hidden power is available, are IVs set from the start, or would you be able to change them if necessary?

The biggest problem with Gen 3 is that Lucario doesn't exist.

Anyway, I looked around to make sure and it seems like the only things Gen 4 changed was the physical/special split, new Pokemon, and new moves. Most notable from the latter in my opinion is Roost, because these days anything with wings and some things that don't have access to a reliable recovery move.

Okay, whenever I'm available to play, I'll create or join a Site Chat room dedicated to this, and leave the room as soon as I leave my computer, and I suggest other people do the same, unless a better system is made. I don't think whether or not I'm online at all is indicative enough for me.

Researching the Pomeg glitch, am I correct in saying that it only affects male only and genderless Pokemon? Because of that, I think it would be a lot less confusing to allow them, but count them as moves not gained through level up, simply so people can just look at the Serebii page and know what they have available without knowing anything about the mechanics.

An additional question though, would a move that is allowed in competitive play but isn't on the Pokemon's Serebii page be allowed?

The format is [Gen 3] OU. If you select that in the teambuilder, it will handle pretty much everything else for you in terms of generation restrictions.

How far does the ban on communication go? Specifically can we just not talk about the league, we can't talk about Pokemon at all, or we just can't talk? If we happen to be around when another match is going on, can we watch it? Can you still not talk about stuff with players we've already battled?

It might not be over yet. I'm sure there are some ways to deal with people not showing, if SKrew still wants to do this.
