I unvoted because I wanted some time to think on it before someone hammered. I suppose what you posted influenced me. Dav is better in the sense that we don't risk losing a FBI. I really want to hear what Mastin's associate scum tell between Persi and Dav is though.

What do you think about my claim? SKs can be tough to find, as they are also uninformed and so they don't give typical scum tells - they can scum hunt just the same as town.

I'm not sure ho should I react to that claim. SK's are hard to find but I'm literally can't be sure your town aligned because of that. I saw mafia investigators as well. plus your role is not confirmable until you find SK.

Not really. When there's only 1 kill per night, they'd eventually look suspicious. One NK could be explained short-term with protects, roleblocks, etc, but not forever. When there's an SK, there tends to be two kills.

Yes, I considered that, but as someone noted, if you're SK, you know there's a chance of an FBI agent, so that would be a risky claim - if countered, you're dead.

As I understand it, multi-ball refers to two or more scum factions on this site. An SK is a third party, not a scum faction.

He wouldn't, because if he guesses from setup spec that:
there isn't an SK, it would soon become apparent and he'd get fucked over.
there is an SK, he is painting a big target on his arse for a crosskill (as well as a risk of being counterclaimed).

This claim reinforces my townread on him.

SKs are rare, FBI agents are probably more common in set-ups with no SK as they are in set-ups with an SK, it has more utility as a named townie than as an SK deterrent since SKs already have enough to contend with. It's easily fakeable and has the wtf quality that makes people townread it, overall the risk is worth it, especially if you're run up on d1.
