the top floor of the lighthouse has open windows facing all directions

the dance starts at 6 PM and continues into the night; it will be to dark to see the lighthouse, unless it's lit somehow

you also need to win spot vs hide to see him

Does low light vision work for seeing?

Otherwise I can learn darkvision and cast it on the person with the highest spot.

light from the ball brightly illuminates maybe in a 60ft radius, and up to a 120ft radius of shadow illumination

low-light vision doubles that, but the lighthouse is 1000ft away

darkvision lets you see 60ft into the dark, not 1000ft

I should still cast darkvision on someone in the tower. We don't want him to see light and get spooked, meaning we need someone who can see him without light.
