You got a double kill and out farm them. They have a doran's long sword you have a doran's vamp sceptor and long sword and you're beating them in levels but they still out damage you.

Vayne + Thresh v Lucian + Blitz. He would auto q doubleshot dash doubleshot laser thingy double shot and out dmg'd the crap out of me. Like I couldn't get near lucian while ahead because he procs thunderlord's instantly.

Choose your fights better, mainly. If the problem is pulls, then practice dodging skillshots/positioning well/noting when blitz can run ahead towards you for an easy initiation.

Were you getting pulled? You were probably positioning poorly or choosing bad fights if he was starting all those off with autos.

Also, you can q to dodge lucian q.

And e him out of his ult.

8/2 as shen, unkillable until enemy Lucian buys lord dominiks and then I'm functionally useless and like one hit. 4k HP, 300 armour, stripped down in like 2 seconds. What did I do wrong?

It was level 3 and it was me v lucian with no blitz.

Yeeeeeeeeeah...

Lucian gets very strong powerspikes early on in the game because of his passive. Try not to fight him directly unless you can either stun him or burst him with your Q+W+E.

So turns out that build is utter garbage.

I think that the 12/18 build with botrk ghostblade is only really good when ahead. Falling behind even in the littlest bit sucks butt.

so yea I'm back to running 18/0/12 with infinity edge first. It works for me, idk.

IE first is probably inefficient, but if you can get away with it then do whatever works for you.
