I am going to have Mollie field these questions unless you specifically want me. Mollie and I see the global game state. I have to preserve my credibility for the few shots I desperately need to take to get town working together. I need to be more focused instead of scatterbrained by shiny things. There are points where I jump all over the place, right now cannot be the time. I will have to be the dominant head of this hydra soon. Hopefully not midway through day 2 though as I like learning Mollie's style. If we're dead Day 2, please sheep me in everything.

@ABR - You have to admit that objectively there's a little bit of internal contradiction in your posting today. It could certainly be because you didn't want to share certain details, but the timing of that claim was so bad that by itself it makes you look like scum. I think you totally shot yourself in the foot with that claim.

I said earlier (and I maintain this unless I learn something that changes it) that it might be best to keep me MC into the first party selection. I would be totally down with having you in that party so you can actually explain the things you don't want to say in the thread in a more controlled environment, assuming support continues to erode on you.

I'm personally torn. Your posting has generally read genuine. That said, you're viewed as a good player and respected by a lot of people for a reason. I don't actually

know

you are town or not town, and I lack sufficient objective data to try and make sense of the way you've approached the day. If you were just about anyone else in the player list, that claim you made when you basically had MC locked up would have resulted in me pushing a wagon on you. Only the fact that I can easily imagine potential cases where a town you might take that action, and it would be foolish to just throw away the utility you provide if you are being honest, has kept me from doing so.

As I said before: I lack the necessary information to say more than that.

wgeurts is willing to let me make the call. He wasn't aware of the entirety of the mechanics that related to the MC, and I explained to him that it's not so much that I think you're scum, as I'm not certain enough that you're town, to risk any sort of catastrophic sequence that could lead to scum being constantly in charge of the adventures.

Even if you step down tomorrow, either by choice or not, and scum *don't* shoot your replacement...maybe that just means it's another member of your team. Maybe they will shoot the replacement tomorrow, and ope, look at that, you're still the MC but we don't actually have sufficient reason to really be suspicious of *you* as a result. Like, it's just a massive mess that's best avoided by voting like so.

How about Yosarian? Given the mechanical effect of having the MC always fall back to the previous person who had it, don't you feel that makes it extremely unlikely that scum were gifted the ability to give themselves powers for AT LEAST two nights in a row?

Yes, a hypothetical scum MC could hold the position indefinitely so long as there is always a successful Night Kill on the newly elected MC.
Yes, this is intentional as a part of the design.

At least try to explain what was going on in your head around then in that case. I've seen some moon logic and although I may not agree with how you go to work if you are town I need to know what you are thinking and why.

For me, it's immaterial the reasoning for it. It is evident that certain people have ulterior motives, though which are town is beyond me. I throw things at the wall and see what sticks, and that seems like the most logical thing to do.

DS gives me the distinct impression of working alone. Scum usually take sides, sheep, back strong town players, basically doing what Max is doing. That's why I think DS is town. His opposition to me is irrelevent to his alignment, same goes for Titus.

Okay, I can see what you are saying. However wouldn't you say the flum push doesn't seem like this as well as the way he's interacting with Titus?

Flum push is what it is. I see flum as scum, and that's that.

My interactions with Titus has changed greatly. Admittedly, I saw Titus as a scum hunting pro, but that has changed a lot. I am no longer confident that Titus has skill at doing anything other than being proactive. The results never seem to help.

As for Rylai, it doesn't matter where the posts come from. The fact that the play style is obviously Shiro's town game makes the slot obvious for me.

What if I am a bulletproof PGO and want to draw the scum NK?
What if I am masons with and together we can combo to catch scum?
What if I have a role that can find out who killed a flipped player D2?
What if I'm a special cop?

There's mechanics that you can't even dream of that make sense to my play as town.
