UNVOTE:
i was hoping for something more exciting
when i voted like that to tie two wagons up
"...probably the worst player I have had the pleasure of playing with in the last ten years..."
"i dislike this guy immensely"
"the worst townie that ever I have ever had the misfortune to play with, by a long shot"
This I also disagree with though, nobody knows why she flaked and if she never returns we have to assume her last post is frozen in time. Lurking is only scummy when you come back after lurking, if she disappears for good then who knows what happened
Yes I get that you disagree, but you also said a Lilac lynch would be more useful. Who do you want lynched today and why aren't you voting?
"Kept you waiting, huh?"
For your typing convenience I respond to TMWSTW, The Man, Big Boss, and David Bowie.
I mean my problem here is I don't really have a particularly strong read on lilac or wednesday and neither are doing anything.
Tbh I'm probably okay with either being lynched but prefer lilac as she does have some instances of phrasing that ping - so slightly better chance of hitting D1 scum - and her flip would tell me more about Davsto and lilith.
I'm not voting because I get better reads on other players when they have to vote before me.
"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. I think at seventeen now I believe the only real monsters might be the type of liar where there's simply no way to tell. The ones who give nothing away"

for 1 i have to reread that chunk
Did you have a reason beyond "I'll see what people do when I vote wednesday"? Or was that it?
i did not

"i dislike this guy immensely"
"the worst townie that ever I have ever had the misfortune to play with, by a long shot"

Sorry. Post 82 is what I am refering to. You're supposed to read my mind postie. Lilac was self aware that her "parked vote" was atteacting attention. In reality only you postie were voting lilac. She called her vote partially random which means she saw something there t further says she wasn't intending to scum read him 'a serious case against him'. So she was making a case. I think lilac needs more pressure.
Right so this is in direct response to
In post 97, Postie wrote:Well I'd assume the "partially random" thing meant that it wasn't fully random because she gave a reason, but it wasn't a "serious case" because the reason was an RVS-ish one. Makes sense to me and doesn't strike me as backpeddling at all.
So Wednesday later saying that the disagreement was already explained doesn't make sense because Postie was responding to that.
Person A Gives Argument A
Person B Disputes Argument A with Argument B
Person A says they disagree with Argument B
Berson B asks why
Person A says because Argument A and that doesn't work, they need to elaborate. Yes, all caught up, sorry.
Okay, I was confused before, this clears things up for me. I didn't catch the order of the posts.
Well I think this is a good time to
VOTE: Wednesday
this is the post i was referring to
"...probably the worst player I have had the pleasure of playing with in the last ten years..."
"i dislike this guy immensely"
"the worst townie that ever I have ever had the misfortune to play with, by a long shot"
In post 186, GuiltyLion wrote:K after that latest post I'm thinking town on lilac and I'm pretty baffled at how confident some of you are that she's scum. That Postie vote makes no sense coming from scum, would expect her to vote lilith there.
Lilith you think she's probably town by virtue of the pressure on her, why aren't you pushing on those people? What are your reads on Wednesday and FA?
Never said lilac was town, I said I think her wagon is not entirely town, but that doesn't preclude scumbuddies distancing themselves. However I did like her 176 for the reasons outlined by TMWSTW. Her 183 is iffy and I'd like some more clarification on that, and an explanation of how she came to her other townreads, because if it's only through eliminating her scumreads then that's a bad way of forming townreads and I can see that as coming from scum.
As for Wednesday and FA--I'm still trying to figure out FA, but I liked her 182 and 188 and that has me slightly leaning town on her. Wednesday, as you've pointed out, seems incredibly confident that lilac is scum which is strange and gives me scummy vibes. She has yet to post since lilac's 176, which may change things though. Also she keeps saying "I expect you to read my mind" which I do not see as very towny but that could be an idiosyncrasy.
admittedly i did skim
i guess what concerns me is the timing
youve been honest about showing
your thoughts as they change
but im wondering why that was the right moment t ovote wednesday
it seems a little at odds with your conversation with man
"...probably the worst player I have had the pleasure of playing with in the last ten years..."
"i dislike this guy immensely"
"the worst townie that ever I have ever had the misfortune to play with, by a long shot"
Well I'd thought she had made a genuine effort to answer Postie's question so that was giving me doubts about the scummy vibes I was feeling. But TMWSTW pointed out that Wednesday had never directly answered Postie's question so I felt like that, on top of the lack of effort towards scumhunting, merited a vote. Especially because I was against the lilac wagon, and I wanted to move the momentum elsewhere.

You seem pretty intent on avoiding the lilac wagon, I thought Davsto's vote on it was weakest. If lilac flips town, townpoints for you, scumpoints for Davsto.
If lilac flips scum, scumpoints for you and townpoints for Davsto.
The opposite scenario on Wednesday doesn't really work because Davsto jumped on lilac but has no reason to switch to Wednesday regardless of his alignment.
"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. I think at seventeen now I believe the only real monsters might be the type of liar where there's simply no way to tell. The ones who give nothing away"

Why are you nerds debating between me and lilac? You realize other players exist yes? Am still hella busy. Instead of talking yourselves to death with lilac or wednesday put others in contention to see how they react you seriously don't expect me to believe you've done nothing but argue lilac or Wednesday? Jesus.
Welcome expediance. Unfortunately I'm not so kind as others might be to give you the courtesy of an unvote. You should ask the mod for an extension by the way it would help me loads.
In post 129, vandergeist wrote:Postie isn't being cautious and is the first one to vote on players, that's indicative of town. I don't agree with her points, but I can't say she isn't trying to scumhunt. The logical gaps of her own pressure-votes are less of an issue as the people who jump on after
I don't get this, since most of what Postie has been doing (the nitpicky pushes) looks like it would be more indicative of scum trying to look like they're scumhunting.
