I'd say we can actually assume that at least 1 is town tbh.

Both were scum = no possibility of them revealing their roles to each other.
2019 stats: Town WR 76.7%, overall WR 81.667%, 1 scum defeat involving a major mod error in lylo vs 8 scum wins.

i mean, ok sure. I'm willing to buy the "atleast 1 is town" thing but you came in and tried to throw shade my way and that doesn't seem real town to me.

My reads on them remain the same. I think the Ika slot is legit seer and he just made a terrible claim.

Silver though, has gotten scummier and scummier to me since the claim.

I call it how I see it, and you aren't invincible just because I was with you against ika & Silver. Forgetting that scum would know each others' roles already without needing to tell each other doesn't seem like real town to me, either.

Yes, but the only other thing I can think of that would "compromise" their slots is if they are both town, and have told each other their roles, which is also against the rules.

This was the best contribution I could come up with at that stage of the game.

We need to put pressure on a player so as to see not only the reactions of the people around the wagon but the player being pressured as well.
Cuz we're going to get the former no matter what so we might as well go for the most info possible with the latter.

And with ika, who seems like he's gonna have a very hollow playstyle, or almost50, who seems to have a strange way of going about playing this thing, I don't think we're gonna get too much outta either when we pressure them.

Pedit: Robster I'm not really seeing why you have a problem with Keyser's post.

If you think pressuring Almost50 or ika will be less revealing than someone else, then who do you suggest we pressure?

Already answered by Keyser, somebody more active/less strange.
It would have been at this point that I would have voted you, just for the reaction, but I'm too late for that now.

In post 123, Golden Robster wrote:Anti-town on the surface. I think the chances of him being scum are slimmer than what I previously had in mind. Why would a third party scum do that? Could he be a PR role and lying about being VT in order to lead scum away from trying to kill him? Is he trying to identify scum that might latch onto him?

I took a step back because I could see newb-town Almost50 messing his VT roleclaim up like this. It would be a very bold move as a scum-gambit (from an inexperienced player) - as it brings immediate focus/attention to his slot. Experienced scum do not actively create WIFOM on their slot to this degree this early.
It's my view that needlessly creating WIFOM is ALWAYS scummy, but this is almost50, and he's really weirding me out so Idk

Yes, pressure on all slots is productive. As I said, this game is built on interactions. I just found it amusing that SilverWolf placed her vote on a player who just signed off to work (it's pressure, not not real pressure).

I was interested in hearing her notes on ika's scum meta. I.e does scum-ika react a certain way to naked votes on his slot while he is at work
:giggle:

In post 143, Ricastle wrote:Happy with my vote where it is.

The idea that ika requires pressure to be sorted is nonsensical. His alignment becomes glaringly obvious as the game goes on regardless.

I love all these responses to me voting for ika. I've also already explained why I'm doing it and what I think of his meta. There's def scum in here defending him if he's town and if he's scum, likely a scumbuddy in here.

ika-reads?

Keyser-reads?

This seems like some species of omgus, you may be right about things but it's better to try to convince others of that instead of dismissing them as possible scum

no one plays pr0-town these days
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
