Anyone who has read the mechanics should realize that I am no longer in a position to default back to MC. If we re-elect Sensei today and he gets killed, Sensei was the previous MC and so the party wouldn't have an MC (the party being whomever he chose). If we elect someone else and that person is killed, MC defaults to Sensei. ABR is completely misrepresenting how the mechanics work to fearmonger and introduce the idea of multiball.

Albert was saying that there are probably two scum teams because:

If there was 1 scum team with 4 members, and one of them got appointed MC, he could bring all his buddies adventuring, they could all spark up, and then just steamroll the town and win.

I don't think sparking works quite the way ABR seems to be assuming, but I could be wrong.

My read on DiamondSentinel yesterday went from Lean Town to Lean Scum. Somewhere I said that he's so messed up and agitated that lynching him would be a mercy killing. He sort of agreed.

But then there's the Suikoden game. I was confused as hell with all the power and some of the odd roles that Town had, plus one of my scumbuddies (Lickety) was having an off game. Terribly off. He got lynched D1, and that made me even more of a mess. Team Scum totally lost that game.

There are parallels between his play here and mine there.
