His frustration seems genuine, the way he reacted to me pressuring him felt really genuine, he never tried to omgus me when I looked like a doable lynch and I was deathtunneling him at the beginning of the day.

@Viva: This frustration, can it only come from town? He keeps dodging questions to further explain his scumread on Cobalting, I'm on Somethingsmart's side on this one. Shinobi is trying to push the lynch on Cobalting based on Ranger not explaining her reads. It's a playstyle thing, Ranger does that in all her games so it's not alignment indicative. This has been mentioned several times, yet Shinobi keeps ignoring it.
It's only Day 1, I'm fully confident that as the game goes on, Ranger will become more talkative if they're town. And if not, we can still lynch the slot. I'm more sure of Shinobi right now and we can only lynch one player a day.
