For everyone: MDW is a massive Southwest hub, so I'd recommend looking there first for tickets if Southwest has good servicing to your city.

on the flipside, Ohare is a spirit hub, so if you're looking for massive discount airline service, you should fly them.

But keep in mind that they will charge you for literally everything extra you might want. If you fly with just a small backpack like I did for my trip to vegas you can get pretty absurd prices (I got a round trip to vegas for like 110) but don't use this option if you need to have bags etc. At that point you might as well just fly soputhwest.

Okay, this looks more viable from my end as well now.

I'd bus in Saturday and hang out Saturday and part of Sunday, leaving whenever Sunday I need to so I can catch my international flight.

It'll probably end up being an overnight flight, so I might try to do some wacky sleep engineering and take one of the bedrooms during the day on Sunday.

Cabd, you mentioned that Midway is more attractive than O'Hare, but what sort of times ARE we talking from the Airbnb to O'Hare by public transit? It's not going to be totally unreasonable, yeah?
