Also I just noticed this but why is Royal third on the dance list? You'd figure Royal would be the best dancer, certainly better than the Thief and Musician can make themselves win anyways so they don't need to be that high.

Yeah, the Royal's buff from his third vote certainly doesn't make up for decreased position on the list, since most votes on this site end up with a huge majority. It may help a bit in the late game, but that's about it.
