This seems like a reasonably accurate summary of events up to #244, though I've only glanced at it momentarily.

My point was at the time of the "reaction", you and Wguerts proceeded to townread him for it.

After that townread for reaction, you meta'd him on a specific role in his prior games in a few short minutes, and then "set the trap".

However, I don't see where anything he could have said would have worked.

In the above post, I give the response that I would have expected from Dwlee-town who lied about the dayvig, Peregrine. If you're attempting to say that I would have pushed Dwlee anyway, it's clearly untrue.

I am sure that you'll argue that I would have called for Dwlee's death no matter what his response. That's not true, but I can't prove it, so arguing the point is semantics. If Dwlee's response had told the truth, even assuming that I would have called for his death, which isn't true - who would have followed me? It would have been an extremely honest answer, with zero scum motivation. There are enough competent players here as town, such as {Cakez/Rob/grapes/you/Venmar/Titus/Varsoon/Elyse etc etc} that I would have received no traction at all with the push.

Dwlee lied, Pere. It's as simple as that. He didn't think that anyone would go back and actually check for the presence of a fake dayvig. As it happened, I was the only person who did. It wasn't a risky lie because the majority of players would be too lazy to actually check the veracity of the statement.
