You are a
Logician
You are a third party role. You have a hat on your head, that is either black or white, but you don't know which one.
There are other Logicians in the game: xxx, yyy... whose hats are colored xxx, yyy... Not all hats are colored white.
At any point during a Day Phase, you can guess your hat's color; if you're wrong, you die; if you're right, you win, the other Logicians lose, and you all leave the game.
I just thought it was a funny idea to have a completely unrelated game running in the same thread as Mafia

Town Adventurer
You have a 1/2 chance to be in town each day; if you're away, the town is aware of you being the adventurer, and you can't participate in the thread, be lynched or targeted by night actions until next day.
You win with town.

You are a
Dragon
.
You don't care about the affairs of those pesky humen in that nearby town, so you can't vote.
If anyone tries to target you with an action, it fails and you eat them: they die without a flip. If you're lynched, everyone who was voting you dies along with you.
You win if you're alive at the end of the game.

Well, first, anyone can claim Dragon, and second, GIM was never meant to be balanced in the first place.

You can't post in-thread at all, but you can't be prodded or replaced either.
Any player that mentions you in-thread (to the mod's discretion) gets modkilled.
You win when you're the last player alive.
I just really felt like making a role that doesn't actually play.

I just don't see how the Peacemaker could win outside of some very specific cases, since anyone who knows there's a peacemaker would avoid nolynching too often.

Gourmet Werewolf
If you use your nightkill on a named VT, werewolves get an additional nightkill for this night only. There is no limit on the number of bonus kills per night from your role.

You're a VT with a post restriction of having to say "ROGNTUDJU" (in all-caps, with a variable amount of Us at the end) in any post where you cast a vote.

Monty Python Cardinal Ximenez
You get dayvig ability on players who said they didn't expecting the Spanish Inquisition, or any similar sentence, earlier in the same day phase.
You win when all players become Monty Python-aligned, or when it can't be prevented by any in-game means.

Monty Python Cheese Vendor
If you're targetted by any night action, it fails and the player who did it gets a PM with a random quote among "No.", "Oh... the cat's eaten it" and “Well, I'm afraid we don't get much call for it around these parts.”
You win when all players become Monty Python-aligned, or when it can't be prevented by any in-game means.

Once the roles are rolled, you can choose another player and give them a pamphlet, which will convert their role to a Town-aligned equivalent.
They can then choose a player to pass the pamphlet on to: it can belong to up to N/5 players rounded down, where N is the number of players in the game. When giving the pamphlet, one always knows how many players can still receive it.
Another pre-game alignment-switching role, with one conftown for anyone who passed the pamphlet on. It obviously had to stay at a low number to prevent massclaiming from breaking the game, does N/5 feel right?

Archnemesis
You are the archnemesis of a random non-town player; your actual role will be a copy of theirs, and some other players from outside your archnemesis's faction will have their role modified for your factions to be perfectly symetrical. You both know you're each other's Archnemesis. Your win conditions are mutually exclusive.
This idea was definitely not inspired by the Linear Guild.

I'm currently modding a GIM game on another forum as a mish-mash-like game, and the setup is, well...
Spoiler: DO NOT OPEN IF YOU'RE IN THAT GAME
We've got a 3p role that makes the setup flipless and that makes everybody lose if he's not lynched by D5; since those guys aren't used to forum mafia, most of them declared they can't play properly wthout flips, and they pulled a D2 nolynch. I think the game is already over by this point.

Mafia Strongman
I could read the original one pretty easily by Ctrl-F-ing the Spectre's entire name, and reading the parts that weren't highlighted. Which is the exact opposite of what this function was made for. ^^

Your nightkill takes priority over any other action on the night it's performed. It can still be blocked by passive abilities or the consequences of former actions..

Town Compulsive 1-Shot Self-refunding Doctor-Doctor
Each night, you must protect the Doctor from 1 killing shot this night.
This ability is refunded if no death was blocked by this ability, or if the target was untargetable and if you were roleblocked (does not refund if the target was rolestopped, or if you were redirected).
What if there's more than 1 other Doctor?

If any roles belonging to other players have a specific interaction with another role or role property listed in their PM, you will be given a role or role property that fulfils the interaction. (For example, if there's a Gunsmith in the setup, you will be given a role that shows up positive to the Gunsmith; likewise, if another player has
flying
, you do too.)
(Note: the description above is for the moderator; tell the player their actual role, rather than the means via which it was generated.)

At any point in the game, you may change all players' roles to the one N posts after their original one, where N is a number of your choice.
If the game ends before you use your ability, you lose. very bastard, much alignment-change, wow

You can be of Town polarity or Scum polarity: you choose one in pregame, and you may change at night.
If you're of Town polarity, you're lynchproof and protected from any town actions, and you appear to be the Vanilla Townie from 1 to investigative roles, but all anti-town actions (even non-killing ones) instantly kill you.
If you're of Scum polarity, you're protected from anti-town actions, and you appear to be the Mafia Goon from 2 to investigative roles, but you're Hated and all town actions (even non-killing ones) instantly kill you.
You win if you survive to endgame.

If any player uses an investigative action, they'll get the result they'd have got from you instead, with a link to this post in their result PM. This effect stops as soon as you die.

Something I love about this role is the way it can have fun consequences if it hits specific roles. Hit a player with Storm? They get infinite actions forever.
