I've got the same feeling, though.
I'm dubious about DS because of the Dwlee wagon shift and DS' tunnel vs DS' genuine-feeling appeals.
I guess I read that as more of a voicing of confliction over the DS wagon rather than condemning DS?

This is the DGB that ABR was raving about. Decisive and plugged in. Can you take a moment and re-evaluate DS and make sure? My read on him is that he's just irritated. I made a note to watch and see if that changed. At the moment he looks like someone who had a bad day. What are you seeing that makes you so sure that's scum?

Well his assertion that you didn't bring content when you jumped into the game is just flat wrong. If he was actually reading you and had just decided you were scum for being inactive, then it should have been no sweat off his back to go "my bad... people are allowed to be busy" or something. DGB is right I think.

Yea, I thought I was the only one that saw this, but Muffin seems to be jumping onto that wagon without making too much of a show of it. It's like 1) he's hopping on Dwlee, and 2) He's trying to look busier than he is.

not so sure about dwlee or DS but at least one of them is a lynch bait obviously. I didn't like the way people changed their votes to dwlee so soon (when main pressure was on DS) and I hated the way suddenly people felt his aggression is scummy.

Why do you think people sliding over from Dwlee to DS makes one town and not the other?

It's unlikely that scum would be hard-bussing dwlee and just abandon that wagon to jump straight onto a DiamondSentinal mislynch.If Dwlee flipped scum later in the game, you would be screwed.

it *is* plausible that scum would jump off a dwlee mislynch and start bussing DS given the pressure he is under.

Scenario #3 is that a town DGB is strong-arming a wagon on a town DS and scum are rowing in behind for an easier lynch

On an unrelated note, catdog's suspicions so far feel a little off. Can't really explain why but they feel weird.

Can you try to elaborate on this / put it into words somehow? I've never played a full game with either of them, but I've been town reading them and would like some other input.

She felt strained and lacked conviction. This is not the titus I am used to as town, and is eerily reminscient of Mafiaception titus. She was super defensive, but not in a way that she actually felt like she was in danger.

I really, really think this slot is scum.

I really dislike that post. He sees person A attack person B, sees person B get pissed and lash out at person A, and then just calls that "scum theatre"? Just seems like a weird and bizzare conclusion to leap to.

The rest of Catdog's voting history isn't great, either. Joined the mindless page 1 banwagon, which is meh. Jumped from badgirls to DS briefly, which, ok, but IMHO it just draws attention to how bad the badgirls vote was in the first place (I guess this was still based on that weird theory that Badgirls and DS are somehow scum together? Or something?) Then bails on that wagon very quickly to vote Dwlee99 instead, for weak to no reasons. Pushes the Dwlee wagon hard for a while, mostly just with repetition. Calls DS scum again, but keeps his vote on Dwlee instead.

Catdog's posts just feel off. I mean, not as far off as DS's posts, but still off.

It is day one, early. We are trying to find something that will stick. In all honesty, I thought UTL moved our vote to DS. We are both players who like moving our vote around as a primary tool for scumhunting. You can consult eihter persons meta for that if you want

Finding one good suspect and hammering away at them until they either manage to change your mind or don't can absolutely be an effective scumhunting tactic. You only have to find 1 scum a day, after all.

No I'm not. If your only suspect was DGB and you were making a plausible case against her that made sense I wouldn't have a problem with it.

I agree that DGB lurks more as scum. But she's already posted more this game then she did in weeks in our last game, so that does not apply here.

I'm sure you are frustrated. That doesn't make you town though. Scum often get frustrated if they feel they're being attacked for the wrong reasons.

For DS I think it's a case of abrasive personality + faulty logic = obviously looks scummy on surface but I'm inclined to believe the emotion down below. I think the "Nobodies listening to me fine lynch me" is a genuine thought coming from DS and not AtE. I also find the phrase "what will you do when I flip town?" points to town, I dunno why scum don't start using it because I always see town say it.
