hadn't even read just above my post. Eh, this is awful flailing from ircher. textbook "ugh I'm mad you're voting me for no reason without letting me explain it's so unfair i'm taking my ball and going home."
It's over. Let's end it for this guy. worry about sara or whoever tomorrow.
Hm, after looking at him closer, I'd agree he's acting slightly scummy, but that seems like a pretty strong FOS you've got going there. What's the reason for having such a strong scumread pg.2?
Trying to remember if this game is plurality or majority
In post 25, Fire Starter wrote:Also, that's my point. You didn't want to be town? You got rid of a town aligent role and a nice town power. That's really bad. I've played the Great Idea games enough to know that the discards tell a lot. Sometimes not until a flip is revealed but discards are always a clue.
Pedit: and since town has majority, odds are I hit town, and if I do not scum, what if they aren't the scum making the kill? It's not useful as town.
After all you seem to be focuses more on how much better the other roles are than our alignment ? Are you gonna kill me tonight ?
This post pinged me. Seemed taunting and deragatory, neither of which helps town.
Perhaps our definitions of FoS are different, but I use FoS when I say someone is the most suspicious of someone else. In that case, Ranger was the most suspicious of Blue. Hence, FoS. I was the most suspicious of Ranger, hence, Blue wasn't my FoS.
GUYS LYNCH IS LITERALLY PLURALITY THERE IS NO L-1 DAY ENDS WHEN HOST ANNOUNCED IT WOULD END, REGARDLESS.
Gonna read Ircher's post later when Im not tired out from catching up in 3 mafias over the course of 2 hours.
Anyways. Sarasakat, you didn't answer why ranger read was SO STRONG! it looked like a normal read. And why get fos was so much worse than your fos on ranger
If that was all you saw about blue being scum, why do you think its weird Rangers opinion changed quickly? Wasnt much to begin with, seems like it's easy to switch.
My point being, I feel like you're making stuff up. Rangers read wasnt so strong. And yet you questioned why it was so strong. It wasnt a fos suspicion, it was a vote, and yet you questioned why it was so heavy. Even by your definition of fos, it wasn't so heavy. It was rregular weight, and yet the way you worded it made it seem like ranger had spent days and walls explaining why we should vote blue.
In post 133, lane0168 wrote:"Plurality voting usually comes into effect if no player has a majority of votes at a Day's deadline, though usually only if lynching is compulsive."
Its pretty clearly in the wiki. It comes into effect at deadline
A. Sounds like it would be a majority lynch - compulsive lynch senario. Not a flat out plurality lynch.
B. I've played flat out plurality lynch on my home form. It goes to the end of day, regardless of if someone reached manority before the lynch or not.
@Other post You don't think he was pushing hard? I'll try to find examples rn, but that's the impression I got.
I believe that Ranger and FS genuinely tried to find whether I am scum.
SarasaKat, you saty that Ranger changed his opinion about me: my opinion is that town will usually change their opinion because we do not know who is scum, therefore we will engage in an investigation process to determine who is scum. This is what FS and Ranger have been doing.
Also this is why I didn't like lane post: instead of investigating whether I am just scum, he just asked if everybody was ok to lynch me, which is nearly the same thing but with a different tone.
Persivul gave a slight defense on Lane, can be genuine or not but should be kept for later.
I don't like Ircher reaction as well: it is way too early for a reaction like his
If anyone feels like I shall be lynched as it looks like there would be more scum than town, tell me, I will even hammer myself if needed
Lowell wants to finish the day quickly as well: I am a bit surprised, in the other games, people want to use as much time as they can every day, is this because you are all much more experienced ?
This is the post I didn't like too much, even if he is flailing, why shouldn't use the time to make Ari talk for example ? Also Lowell, your ISO is a bit empty for now.

Ari, let's hear more from you now, Ircher consider that my vote is on you for now. VOTE: Aristophanes

* This is the only way to achieve a "No Lynch" - regular lynching is achieved through plurality.
Majority lynching is still the primary way you will lynch, plurality is just to ensure that inactivity does not lead to a No Lynch unless no players have any votes cast. It is my way of ensuring that the only way a No Lynch occurs is if a majority of players vote "No Lynch". I will be considering alternative wordings for this part of my ruleset; stay tuned for an update.
Post 126 has been updated with flavor and a Votecount that is accurate as of that post.
@Blue I wouldn't really call it salty.. More confused/suspicious than not that he said he thought you were scum to he thought you were town on the same page.
Well since I apparently have all day now, gonna read through that Ircher long post from hell. Manager apparently forgot to note that my shift was at 10PM, not 10AM.

Sorry this was a typo, I mean to say "you say".
Had to admit the salty in there was funny though xD

You make an argument based on false statements in order to justify your vote. You then shit out an argument. I took a whiff and called it what it was: shit. You then EAT the shit, saying I'm twisting words and lying because there is no shit. You then shit back out the shit you just ate and voila, you have every argument you've made. And endless cycle of you shitting and reusing your own shit to justify your original shit. IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT.

I'd vote for Ircher, but that might be the lynch and I figure we're not done talking yet.
I like this list a lot. I'm pretty much dead-set on voting for one of these VT-discarders today. I've been racking my brain about this and I just can't see--absent having been dealt 5 VT cards-- why anyone who cares at all about being pro-town would ever do this.
You mean a town discarder? Idk why a VT discard is more scummy than a PR discard.
And in my defense for that one, I literally got 5 townpicks. And they all sucked. The host even gave me his condolences about my shitty luck.
