Ok, sorry, that was mean.
He's not usually this noobish.“Why was I chosen?'
'Such questions cannot be answered,' said Gandalf. 'You may be sure that it was not for any merit that others do not possess. But you have been chosen, and you must therefore use such strength and heart and wits as you have.”-

I just wish I could get yosarian on the same page becuase I believe he could throw a lot weight catdog's way too if he wasn't being distracted by the shiny false positive that is DS
I actually thought drixx and yosarian were more decent out of those on DS. Like they both just stated their problems with DS and gave him space to respond and explain himself rather than just calling him scummy.-

While dwlee isn't much for words and I'm not estatic about some of the conclusions he makes, I find the directions he takes in this game incredibly sincere.-

Sincerity has nothing to do with good/bad.
If you sincerely drink poison, you will die. You have to match sincerity with correctness. And he needs to learn way more before he can act brashly, no matter how sincere be is.“Why was I chosen?'

Honestly, I think that the way the DS wagon has fizzled out twice now, or perhaps more accurately fizzled out once and then failed to pick up steam again is indicative of DS being mostly town wagoning scum and his partners being unwilling to bus. One's self-meta cannot be known without invalidating it.-

I ignored something from Rylai early on because it was a useless question and I fully intend to coast until D2 or maybe even 3 if I can get away with it.One's self-meta cannot be known without invalidating it.-

Oh shut up, you scum. You know good and well I'm town, and you are trying to get town to lynch me.
Town is not wagoning me because they are realizing, little by little, that I am indeed town, and I'm playing extremely weird this game.“Why was I chosen?'

You are not even close to obvtown. You are currently getting wagoned by me, Rylai, and whoever we can get in on the action.“Why was I chosen?'

@4nxi3ty: I feel you on that one. I think the Snowman lynch is, honestly, a stronger lynch for us right now. Swinging Catdog would be more likely to just end in 10 more pages of people shitting their pants.
I had some mixed feelings about the slot early on but this feels strongly like town-ABR to me. I've got better townreads on other players, but I don't have any misgivings with the slot at this time. That said, it's very important to pay attention to the ways in which ABR approaches play; he'll lie and grandstand in order to lead town as town, so it's important to give particular attention to the agenda ABR tends to push rather than how he pushes it.
In post 706, CatDog wrote:varsoon is scumming it up like no tomorrow and got people to scumread me for it? Okay then.
Varsoon is acting like he knows the alignments of people. Of course I'm serious. He hard pushed the wagons away from dwlee/ds, tried to change the conversation into being VT = townclaim when its like, totally not?
Thanks, Catdog, I really needed to cool off and you're throwing enough shade to keep me chilled for weeks.
On the real, by 'acting like he knows the alignments', you mean developing tentative reads? How the frag doyouplay mafia?
I pushed a wagon at Diamond Sentinel and away from Dwlee because I felt like Dwlee is town. I've read enough Dwlee games and seen Dwlee mislynched enough to suss out that the way the Dwlee push was going, it was likely to end poorly (little info, shitty flip, short day, etc). I've largely dropped off of Diamond Sentinel due to his claim and play under pressure (both of which seem to reflect town sensibilities to me), but haven't really 'hard pushed' away from it. I even went back to the wagon a few times, when reconsidering aspects of the claim.
I don't recall ever changing the conversation to VT = townclaim. I guess if you keep insisting that I did, someone will believe you, but my post 602 reflects nothing of the sort, chummer;
Spoiler: My post 602, where I specifically say that I've seen goons and godfathers claim VT and I call the claim into question

I don't know if this'll help or hurt me (and therefore take this action as you will), but read UNI MUM for more VT by moi. It's no secret it's my least favorite role, so it's safe to say that my play is weird as one.“Why was I chosen?'
