I just wish I could get yosarian on the same page becuase I believe he could throw a lot weight catdog's way too if he wasn't being distracted by the shiny false positive that is DS

I actually thought drixx and yosarian were more decent out of those on DS. Like they both just stated their problems with DS and gave him space to respond and explain himself rather than just calling him scummy.

Sincerity has nothing to do with good/bad.

If you sincerely drink poison, you will die. You have to match sincerity with correctness. And he needs to learn way more before he can act brashly, no matter how sincere be is.

@4nxi3ty: I feel you on that one. I think the Snowman lynch is, honestly, a stronger lynch for us right now. Swinging Catdog would be more likely to just end in 10 more pages of people shitting their pants.

@Varson whats your read on ABR?

I had some mixed feelings about the slot early on but this feels strongly like town-ABR to me. I've got better townreads on other players, but I don't have any misgivings with the slot at this time. That said, it's very important to pay attention to the ways in which ABR approaches play; he'll lie and grandstand in order to lead town as town, so it's important to give particular attention to the agenda ABR tends to push rather than how he pushes it.

I pushed a wagon at Diamond Sentinel and away from Dwlee because I felt like Dwlee is town. I've read enough Dwlee games and seen Dwlee mislynched enough to suss out that the way the Dwlee push was going, it was likely to end poorly (little info, shitty flip, short day, etc). I've largely dropped off of Diamond Sentinel due to his claim and play under pressure (both of which seem to reflect town sensibilities to me), but haven't really 'hard pushed' away from it. I even went back to the wagon a few times, when reconsidering aspects of the claim.
I don't recall ever changing the conversation to VT = townclaim. I guess if you keep insisting that I did, someone will believe you, but my post 602 reflects nothing of the sort, chummer;

PR Claims equal survivability. You can spare a mislynch testing a VT claim, because you're probably running up the claimant to lynch because they're anti-town anyway.

On this site, the only reason for scum to ever claim VT is in open setups and/or if they're specifically trying to play against this meta point. I've seen goons and godfathers hack out a VT claim and skate by on it, but they're always more likely to be lynched than a PR claim.

The way that Diamond claimed was awkward, imo. The holdout of flavor info and hesitance to claim were both strange, especially since I claimed unprompted earlier and was fairly townread for it. I wondered if that hesitance came from the fact that my claim was a PR claim that seems to have gotten me townread as a result--I also did not claim any of my flavor, though. I don't know if the game revolves that closely around me, though, so maybe this was me seeing it a bit cynically? Regardless, I don't know exactly what to make of Diamond's claim, and perhaps that's a reflection of my own deductive shortcomings.
