The asterixes indicate a person didn't actually fill out a form. Of those who filled out a form, Yiley CLEARLY got the raw end of the deal as everyone else got their 5th or better choice. It's kind of impressive that the first four people got their first pick!

Yeah. Maybe we had a similar read on the top 3 and then basically said "okay, well. I'd rather just play it by ear and get nearer the turn"?
I realize now I seem to have completely misread the chart and switched the criteria: I took "1st Pick" to mean "1st Pick of Order I Want to Go In" and "1st Choice" to mean "1st Choice in the Draft".
I actually had 11th Pick (that is: Going 11th in the Draft) as my preferred spot so if Yiley wants to switch/you'll permit the switch I'd be down.

Pretty much. Will be weird actually just doing 12-team H2H after the 16s.
If ya smell what The Locke is cookin'!
"Locke Lamora and Andrius, defying all logic since 1081."
In comparison to the majority of fantasy baseball, sure. I think playing one-win might actually be the most unusual thing we do in that sense. I was more talking about the fact that this is the only H2H baseball league I play every year, so I'd become somewhat used to it being deeper.

yeah, very true! I wonder if we'll feel the 3 transactions per week max thing more this year. Replacement level for pitchers last year was pretty grim.

I was hoping my 1-2-5-6 strategy might've paid off but alas, I guess it wasn't meant to be. Almost half the field being just standard 1-12 lists kinda sucked, but eh.
Ski mask? Check! Sawed off? Check! Guilty conscience, fear of death? Check! Check! Check!
With 12 teams, it makes the most sense not to do divisions and run the season for 22 weeks, with playoffs in week 23 and 24 (and 25 if we want 6 teams in the playoffs). The other option that makes sense is two divisions of 6 teams with intradivisional play happening three times and out of division happening once, with playoffs in week 22 and 23 (and possibly 24)

Hopefully that doesn't screw anyone up.
Ok no worries. And just to confirm the auction draft is still the 20th right? (Because yahoo currently says the 19th)
I feel pretty happy with my draft. I had wanted to get Yan Gomez as my starting catcher 'cause like wasn't the guy a top 5 catcher a season ago? So I'm expecting a rebound. And Norris is just a backup. I'm thinking that I'll just play Machado at SS though I was planning on getting Crawford but I can just play Kang (when he gets healthy) and Lawrie. Buxton may have been a stretch but he was supposed to be a big prospect so we'll see if he rebounds.
Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
I just want to say that in the keeper league, Bert has just astounding value on his team. He's spending $44 for the following players: Correa, Sano, Schwarber, Arenado, Donaldson, Pollock.
