Yosarian ... sorry my claim was bad. I was skittish after being warp speed lynched for "scum slipping" as town tracker in Elyse's ASoIaF game. Plus there was a lot of suspicion on me from people without any real reasoning, and the one person who gave reasons (Brian Skies) was deep in the throes of confirmation bias (or is scum). We talked about it in mason PT and agreed that since we had to conclude the clarification we got meant one of us got role copped (even if we didn't, the clarification implies a role cop exists, and the role card being altered to show just our abilities but not our masonry is something that would only be done if the role cop was scum; a town role cop wouldn't out masons), and since I had heat on me, I should be the one to claim and out my crumb.

I'll ask you for the same advice as I did Varsoon. After game is fine. I got a lot of learning to do.

ABR ... what do you think of Varsoon's suggestion that Masons should out themselves on day one. I've been thinking about that and I'm trying to figure out why that would be good. It takes away from the utility I think. I would have preferred to try and talk my way out of any suspicion today but had an unfortunate need to be away for too long a stretch to be comfortable with.

I unvoted Drixx because I believed his claim, despite his misspelled crumb. I was trying to think of roles that would make sense with his role cop thing, and couldn't think of anything. Being a Mason made sense to me as far as that was concerned. Regarding the whole other masons thing, I didn't see a point in continuing to vote him because I feel like it's something that would work itself out.

I could have sworn Drixx claimed something about having the Mason part of his role being stripped from his PM before Muffin softclaimed. So I find it a little hilarious people think Muffin is claiming Role Cop when Drixx indicated the Mason part of his role can't be confirmed. I also thought about Muffin's softclaimed for all of about 5 minutes, think I know what he's softclaiming, and I still think he's town.

Maxous is still scum. It's not a read I'm super confident in, but I still think I'm right about it and don't see why other people think he's town. I don't mind [Anxiety?] suspecting me for my double slide because I knew I'd get backlash from it. But I couldn't help myself from slapping BBT in the face for that vote. I'm still not sure what to make of BBT this game, but I'd happily wagon/lynch Dwlee or Maxous at any time.

Absolutely not. I don't claim for other people (especially since I'm making an assumption). But it seems to be a relatively common and polarizing investigative role.

Not a fan. I have to double check, but I think I remember scum being outspoken about it in Capcom Crossover. And I know both cat hydras did it in [Anything Goes?]. One of the hydra were town, and I think Tammy was in the scum one.
