Maestro started the game all active and happy, then came back mean and depressed. Kind of like his puppy died in between.
Then he hammers KtS, which is a behavior that fits his psychology. So no he does not get a scumread.

Too scummy to be scum is a fallacy. The fact is that this hammer was easily excusable because of the general dislike on KTS's attitude.

I think scum likes to have a real reason to vote someone, other than "i dont like this person."
And it's not a fallacy. You just have to be careful to consider a player's personality when you use it.

Except nowhere Maestro was trying to look scum. His hammer was excused by dislike, and he has had tons of "lynch me tomorrow/today" AtE moments which are there simply so he looks TOWN, not scum.

Wisdom, some patterns are easy to avoid. Some aren't. For instance, my activity falls heavily as scum. That is a pattern I can't avoid, because I can't bring myself to care about the game if I already know the solution.

You have to ask yourself, what kind of scum player would Maestro be? VI-type players defy the too scummy to be scum aphorism, but players like Maestro usually do not.

His mental state upon returning to the thread before EoD after a hiatus from activity was dark. I think something happened in his real life, or maybe he was bored with forum mafia. Possibly something happened in a different game. IF you look at his hammer from a perspective of accepting his changed mental state, it makes sense.

I like your style. Underlying it is the assumption that seeing how people act under pressure helps you to read them.

Yes Jeanne, because scum are capable of bussing. What matters is not what the person that was hammered flips, but what motivation the hammerer had for hammering.

Yeah, no. Scum would jump at the opportunity for such an easily excused hammer.

I can't read Wisdom, he's not sharing his thoughts only the conclusions and I don't like the way he pushes people. I'm afraid I might scumread him later just for being annoyed with his playingstyle. I'm going to leave him be until we had some more flips and I can take a look at vote-placement. That will be Day 3 at the earliest (well maybe Day 2 if there are going to be 2 kills again)
I don't know Shiro very well but this doesn't feel like her towngame to me.
