I can't believe I'm even having to make this argument, but if the reason behind you're vote is to have the best chance at securing a lynch, then you're still best off voting Snarky. Even though more people are on my wagon right now, more have scumread Snarky and would seem to be fine with lynching him today:

Because when you "preread" you were uninformed. And were genuinely trying to figure out the game.
This causes you to form "genuine reads", because you don't know who is or isn't scum. You then get a role pm, which could cause you to be informed, but you can post your "genuine reads".

I have seen players do it.
