So here is where I stand in terms of reads.

Lilith I think is town because of her reaction to being townread early. I've played with Lilith as both alignments, and she tends to be very reserved and offensive as scum, and openly urging people to reconsider their read on her is not something she would do as scum.

Justin is very close to obvtown for me. 119 is very towny. They don't care at all what people think of them and they're looking in a lot of different places rather than just pushing one narrative. Plus they have xkcd

FA/UTL is the hardest for me to read. FA asked a lot of good questions but I'm not as confident on her as the other two.

I'm really getting the feeling that School's pushes are insincere and are coming from a scum mindset, but I'm starting to wonder if that's just me. I've asked Ari about it. @Justin and UTL: do you see what I am talking about? What are your thoughts on School?

I was trying to hold off saying this until Dewy gave her reads, but I'm really leaning toward her being scum here. I'm going to look through her ISO, but my main points on her are asking a lot of questions that don't really aid in sorting people (just like she did as scum in a previous game), latching on to Justin's "slip" regarding the number of scum, and exaggerating her frustration at Kuroi for hammering.

Also, looking at the previous games, there are probably only two PRs, meaning that the vig is the last one left. In this case, we gain nothing by NLing, but we lose the possibility of redeeming a mislynch with a correct vig shot. I am strongly against NLing today.

I ALWAYS scumread BBT (and he's been town in every game we've had together). That's why I asked TTH to post more.. I'd like to try to see what I think about her. 296 was really towny, though. (I'll go back a little later and reread that ISO, see if something in particular sticks out to me with another go through)

What? Ok so, say we ML again today, we leave it on the vig. What if the vig hits town again? I really am not following your logic here.

Please, if I'm not seeing something, walk me through it, but this plan is not in town's best interest IMO.

Mislynching definitely leads to automatic loss.

We lynch today:

Mislynching might not lead to automatic loss if vig shoots correctly.
The advantages of no lynching would be to give PRs an extra night or to force scum to reduce the lynch pool, but I don't think either is useful to us in this situation.

Like I get what you mean? But I'm incredibly wary of putting the game on the shoulders of the vig when 1. we don't even know if we trust them (we could tell them who to shoot but that doesn't mean they'll listen if they think they have a better idea), 2. they may not even have another shot.

We no lynch today: Vig can still shoot again if they have another shot and it gives us another day to sort things out with a flip to go off of and discuss.

Sorry for disappearing, really busy with school this week

I thought I was scumreading School/JT and townreading Swords until like 5 minutes ago when I checked our other games (that is, mine and Smart's) and now I'm leaning scum on Swords, sooooooo... Not sure if that changes my read on School and JT though because the stuff that I dislike about them is kind of independent of my read on Swords. In particular TTH's one big post just felt so attack-y and rather than trying to organically present her thoughts and come to a conclusion, it sounds like she spent time organizing all of her evidence to fit her final reads. I'm scumreading JT much less but still a little bit but I guess not as much as before.

And @UTL I don't want to put the game on the shoulders of the vig either but we're screwed if we mislynch again in any event. All lynching today does is give the vig a chance to save us if we do happen to mislynch. I don't think we will, however.

Yes I do and it's not so scary now that I've seen it.
What scared me was that she played the newb card very effectively and that can make newbscum impossible to differentiate from newbtown (I did it to some extent in my first newbie, too). It only works once or twice, usually.

There's a difference between null and scummy. Which are School and JT? Is your town read on me based on FA or what I've done since taking the slot over?

Where are you on the lynch vs. no lynch debate?

This slot has been so underwhelming in regards to performance. Dewy, I know you're busy and whatnot, but when you have posted, it doesn't seem like you're actually trying to solve the puzzle. It feels more like you're trying to keep busy and hoping nobody really notices you.

TBH, I think Sword and I are going to have to agree to disagree on lynching vs. no lynching. That being said, though I still think no lynching is optimal play for town for reasons I've already mentioned, I'll go with the majority so it's not an argument anymore. That way, if you guys do decide we should lynch today, we can spend the time talking about who that should be instead.
