VOTE: Lowell

what is up with the level of lack of comprehension here? I mention lowell rarely, and the only post of me talking about him is me saying he's not tonally the same as my last scum-game with him, and that I was feeling suspicious about him giving town reads so frequently, but lowell does tend to do that sometimes.

It really feels like you're reaching to tie me in with lowell here. Like scum preparing to bus and then bring a few townies down with fake associations.

You can play semantic games all you want to with my definition of weird but your "hedging" or my view of it as a soft defense (yeah he's scummy but look at this over here), the relationship is weird. If you think Lowell's scum, you should vote him. Rather, it looks like you're just coming up with reasons to agree with everyone here. Where's the hunting? The critical analysis I'm used to you from you?

I don't understand. How is my relationship with lowell weird?

Your "hedging" which I still maintain is a weak defense is wierd. If you think he's scum, you should vote him without caring about how you'll be perceived. It's a wierd relationship to have someone as a scumread to but to always essentially say he's scum yahhh butttt he kinda looks townie over here.

I didn't say I was scum reading him. I said I would be paying attention to him.

In post 1452, Imperium wrote:What is your read on Lowell then?

In other places you call him a scumlean. Don't sell me that's not a "scumread" or that you said you'd be paying more attention.

when I hedged I didn't have him as scum. I said "lowell might be scum but I'm kinda iffy on that."

past-tense, it was almost 13000 posts ago.

He's null-scum now because he hasn't posted enough for me to make a final decision, but if I had to pick an alignment for him, he'd be scum.

My reads look something like this atm...

Killthestory, OceanWind, MagnaofIllusion, Imperium
RadiantCowbells
Nosferatu, Massive
Virtue
Lowell, Ranger

Although RC & Virtue are where they are from my Severa (who might as well have been a different player) & Bella reads, harder to get a read on their 'replacements'. Nos I'm unsure about atm. Ranger's responses have been good lately but the Snarky scum read is convenient & I'd like to see how I read Lowell's replacement so my vote stays.

I'd like to clarify that there's a gap between acryon and Imperium, but
also
a huge gap between Imperium and Virtue.
acryon's fallen out of my townbloc and I'm waiting for the replacement there. Imperium's not even close to that level, but their posting's feeling much better overall, which is why they're well north of the nullline.

Have you played with Snarky before? He had 3 votes when you replaced in, you had no reason of your own for voting for him. Only then did you read the game & nothing changed in your reads lists. Reminder...

The key word there is 'completed'.

This is actually a flat-out lie. At least for me. Can't speak for RC, but I'd assume it's also not true of him.

Magna - nacho will get his butt in here today :)

The current line of defense from snarky is silly. Everybody here has access to current games along with their flips and playerlists. And completed or uncompleted anyone can read those games and use them to inform their read on a player and how they act as scum or town, even if we can't talk about the ongoing ones. For the record, I didn't find anything that greatly distinguishes his scum/town game and a couple times I thought I found a smoking gun I found a town game he did it too. So who knows.
A hydra of Nacho and Tammy!
