hey cake
i'm gonna tell you a secret about this game once i get home tonight (in like 3-5 hours probably)
it's not anything role related, it's just how I perceive this game based on the setup and what I actually think is important to do in this setup compared to a normal mafia game. but i would like you to think about how you expect a few typical games of this to go in the meantime.
seeeeeeeee ya then!-

my question will be noticed one day.
famAlignment Cops Return "Friend" or "Foe" unless otherwise stated in the role PM. Friend means that the player can win with their target. Foe means they cannot. Framed players return Foe.
I get the results 'Asari' 'Not Asari'-

Soooo, why did FA get a vote for “piling on a vote” but party boat didnt?
And...who exactly was “piling on votes” at that point?
your reasoning doesnt ring true. explain to me why it is.

do you believe I'm likely to not be in or aligned with your faction? Or do you just think what you've seen of my play so far is likely to be a liability to the town? or am i just being annoying enough to justify voting?
something else is fine too
or...you could just ask me why I am voting you.NO YOU'RE OVER DEFENSIVE-

If I can make a few extra people laugh at the game instead of following their natural tendencies of 'TOWN SHOULD DO THIS IT IS THE WAY TOWN DOES THE THINGS' and being disgustingly serious and then likely losing the game anyway then all the extra suspicion will have been worth it. And I'm definitely still playing to my win condition here as well, which includes (oh man check out this shocker) lynching scum. I'm just kind of delaying putting effort into that part of it for a bit until everyone actually shows up to make a point. I diiid sign up for this game under this alt instead of my main account for a reason.In post 226, Nosferatu wrote: what is your purpose in living like this
@CKD- i'm personally defining town this game as humans and humans alone since every other faction can win with some form of scum, but asari and turians might as well be town until like day 4+ at the minimum anyway. and I could do that! But for now just wait for my post later tonight.-

@curiouskarmadog: At first I wasn't entirely sure if it was a joke or bait or a gambit. When it sunk in they were actually wagoning FA for those reasons, I became confident in a vote there.-

How does outing as an asari help that? He needs to lynch you anyway or he simply cannot win (or hope that scum takes care of that for him). He should be actively trying to get you lynched tbh...In post 211, beeboy wrote:
Yeah I was worried you would try and get me lynched once you got a 'Not Turian' result.In post 205, Varsoon wrote:Beeboy, I can only check is someone is a Turian. The only results that I think I get are 'Turian' or 'Not Turian'.
But if you are Asari, it's all fine. Let's try to lynch dudes that are a common threat and just hope that one or the other gets killed so we don't have to have a popularity contest in endgame.-

No, its not complicated. The simple answer here is that you look like you just outed that you were a geth with a one shot kill...In post 223, Nosferatu wrote:

@Suzune: So long as there are no false-positives and another Asari investigates him at night, we'll be fine.
If he fake-claimed Asari, that can be easily checked against.
Sure, it outs an Asari, but it also gets him turbo-lynched/forces a 1v1 very early on.-

Hey Varsoon I was gambling whether or not we should work together because I have serious trust issues.
Want to use both our cops on the same person?
It ensures that if we target a buddy it is someone who is incredibly scummy and doesn't lose a whole lot by being confirmed Asari/Turian and our common enemy right now is the geth who are most likely to be godfathers and both of us getting a positive result essentially makes us a unredirectable, unframable, geth cop which benefits both us.ah yes, beeboy style reads;

not really no. If I were a 1-shot vig Geth because I said they have one shot to kill you, then what does that say about solarians or krogans each having two chances?In post 234, FA_Q2 wrote:

Eagerly anticipating Party Boat's "big post"
I think there's a good chance Nos is a Geth who scumslipped. It adds up with his weird "Geth aren't scum" thing earlier
What the hell.....Bait wrote:Hi all. This seems like an interesting game, but clearly has too many players with the number of

@Beeboy: To be fair, I can't outright trust you either. Besides, how would we co-ordinate our investigates without just setting ourselves up to get wrecked by other people who could play around them?-

Oh true roleblocks...In post 248, Varsoon wrote:@Beeboy: To be fair, I can't outright trust you either. Besides, how would we co-ordinate our investigates without just setting ourselves up to get wrecked by other people who could play around them?
I was thinking one of us would choose a pool of 3/4 players and the other chooses a player in that pool. So it is kind of our own faults if we get outplayed by each other and we can't let anyone bully us into targeting certain people.
What I was thinking about was since we get guilties only on geth (since I don't see godfathers being anywhere else) that would give the scum teams an incentive to not kill us as we aren't much a threat to them because both of us getting a 'Not Asuri' and 'Not Turian' result means they could still be human which is the largest easiest to claim faction.
I think the merits of my plan are good since we are prime kill targets right now.
Also I am 100% sure you can't win with me and I am only 60% sure you are telling the truth about being a Turian and I don't think you could fake follow this plan with me without an actual Turian cop so it would help me be comfortable with you being alive.ah yes, beeboy style reads;
